Great video!! I love your interpretation and thoughts on two page layouts - definitely something I should try out!
I really love this. I'm definitely doing this for my nephew's scrapbook. Thank you so much for inspiration. Again, love the color choices and layout.
LOVE those rub ons!!! The double page spread is just gorgeous...like you say...they are not matchy- matchy, but they are obviously a "set". Love how you achieved that...going to try a 2 pager...its been AGES since I've done one!! Also really love the black on the card...so striking! Great job!!
Thanks so much for this i LOVED it all. You have made me want to do a 2 page layout for sure :)
I love everything you make!
Simply gorgeous! Thanks for doing a 2 page l/o!! :)
Video - Seeing Double: Smile
Galleries: Scrapbooking, Cardmaking
Hey Peas, happy friday!!
I'm happy to be here today with another Seeing Double video. Today I made a two page layout, and a cute matching card. I decided to make a tiny dent in my label sticker stash. I say tiny because I have oodles and oodles of them. I'm a bit obsessed. ;) I cut them in half to make a border, and saved the cut pieces to duplicate t he border on my second page. It really helps tie the two pages together especially since I don't have anything that crosses over the middle of the two pages.
I also had fun mixing two lines by different manufacturers, Vintage Bliss by Simple Stories, and Lakeside by Pebbles. At first glance you wouldn't think they would mix well, but there are some great patterns and colours that fit with each other perfectly. I hope you will watch the video and let me know what you think!
One of my favorite things on the page is the title on the second page. Because the letters are transparent I was able to layer them over top of my journaling for a really fun effect. I adhered them with my sewing machine, but any clear glue, or staples would work great too :)
