I am not a graphic style scrapbooker but I love it!
love love love!!!! Fabulous colors...love the cardboard background and love the use of negative space on both projects!!
I am really drawn to the clean graphic style of these projects, lovely.
Your color choices are so pretty together and your stitching is so straight! Great photo too. Maria
These turned out so well. I love that you used the same family of products to get two completely different looks.
Video - Seeing Double: Never in a million...
Galleries: Scrapbooking, Cardmaking, Stamping
TGIF! It's my rotation for the Seeing Double video's and I am happy to have a page and card to share today. I chose to use metal dies on my projects since I am such a huge fan of them. The ones I used are by Lawn Fawn, as well as the paper collection I used called Pink Lemonade.
I thought for something a little different I'd use corrugated cardstock as the base of my page, and I really like the way it turned out, I was also able to sew through it with no problems :)
I am in love with the Project life grid cards, and even thought I'm not really doing project life I find myself grabbing for these plain grid cards all.the.time. Such great staples to have in your stash, you really should pick some up if you don't have them already!!!
I used the circle dies from Lawn Fawn to make a window in my card that I layered a banner sticker over. It's just a fun little detail that was so quick and easy to do.
I hope you watch my video and let me know what you think!
Challenge: Use metal dies on a layout and card, if you don't have any you may change the challenge to using 3x4 style cards on your projects. Then upload your project to the correct challenge gallery. One winner from this month's “Seeing Double” video challenges will be selected to win a 2Peas Gift Certificate just for playing along. I can't wait to see what you'll create!! :)
