Cool layout this week and interesting challenge. TFS
I love listening to you as you go through your process.
Love your style. Great layout...like to hear the thought process behind all the details.
I've putting stuff on my page protectors for a while now but always wondered wether it was "allowed". I'm very glad to see that it is! Thank-you :)
Love the idea of putting things on top of the page protectors! You have inspired me to do it! Also love the "little things" theme... that's what Project Life is all about!

Hello there, Peas! I'm here today with another lesson in the weekly Project Life series where myself and a few other Garden Girls will share tips and tricks as we assemble our Project Life spreads. A new lesson in this series can be viewed in the videos section each Saturday.
This week includes a frog, a turtle (can you tell I have boys?), cinnamon buns, friends and a boy in a tub. Can we get any more random that that? Just another reason I love this project :)
Today I am mixing it up. I use several pieces of exclusives available here at Two Peas (printables, paper clips and wood veneer cards) as well as pieces from the midnight edition kit and of course, mixing in some paper and bits from other companies. I'm a fan of the mixing :)
This week I also had just enough photos so I was able to take two of the printables and use them as filler type inserts: one for the month with the dates of the week stamped and one as a run down of the weeks activities.
As I went along putting my spread together, I noticed a few trends while my week was coming together: I used several tags on this spread along. Five, I think, and most of them printables. I also was focused and talk about in the video documenting “the little things”. This came about not only because one of the tags has that printed on it, but because it is also the theme this month here are Two Peas in a Bucket. What better way to remember the little things than to document them project life style!
My challenge for you this week: Let's think outside the box, or in this case, page protector. Think of a way you can add something to the outside of your spread. In my video I do this a few ways: adding label stickers to the outside of the page (add a bit of extra adhesive to make sure it will stick for the long haul), enamel dots on the outside (why not?) and a tag sticking out of the top of one of the pockets. What other ways can you think of? I like mixing it up by adding elements on top of a page protector. It creates some texture and a bit of dimension. Plus, it's unexpected and adds some interest. In any case, add your out of the box idea to your next project life spread and load it into the gallery. At the end of the month a winner from all the challenge participants will be drawn and receive a $10 gift certificate announced on the Two Peas blog.
Thanks so much for watching. Enjoy your Saturday!
