So many good lessons in this video...thank you! When you explained the placement of the chipboard squares I heard a light bulb go off in my head, lol!
Shimelle you do such a good job of explaining things. Things like the little frames possibly becoming to heavy, the way your eye moves around the page especially with the triangle placement and just overall great explanations of what you do and why. Nice looking page!
Beautiful layout, I love hearing the thoughts behind why you make the choices for each piece, it has really helped me make more purposeful decisions on my pages.
I really loved your process that I watched it twice!
Great video! This one is packed with so much great advice that I'll have to keep coming back to it. My favorite is the fashion analogy.
Yay! I was so happy to see the mix of old and new- I get worn out trying to keep up with the "latest and greatest". Still love Sass!
Video - Glitter Girl Adventure 087: The Retro Revival
This week Glitter Girl brings out some old favourite scrapbooking products to mix with current embellishments, inspired by this discussion [twopeasinabucket.com] on the General Scrapping message board here at Two Peas. Her adventure includes a new page from start to finish, but also thoughts on why some products work well for longer and tips for selecting the new and old products to use together.
Below you'll find a list of the supplies Glitter Girl recommends as a quick and easy way to revive your older papers with some simple and versatile embellishments. Pick the colours and shapes that would get the most use with your papers and photos!
If you have an older stash of paper and are interested in more ideas on this subject, do check out her earlier adventure, Old and New to the Rescue [twopeasinabucket.com].
Come along for the adventure, won't you?
This week Glitter Girl challenges you to mix old and new supplies on a new layout. When you share it in the gallery, be sure to use the description box to tell us how this worked for you and what products - new or old - you really love.
