I was inspired by the October Two Peas in a Bucket digital files this month, and decided to focus on typography. The word cut-file was perfect for a big, bold title. To start, I selected a coral Dear Lizzy “Polka Dot Party” paper and laid out my title overlapping with the white space in my photo. I added half of a paper from the new Maggie Holmes “Flea Market” line. The subtle print added extra detail to the page, and balanced out the typography-heavy left side of the page. For journaling, I used the library card from the Bananafish Studio October printable files, and placed it in an Amy Tangerine vellum envelope. With such a bold title, I went light on the layering and just added little embellishments here and there to finish off the page.
CHALLENGE: Use a bold title on your layout/card/other projects! Share your project with us in the gallery, making sure to check the challenge checkbox during upload. We'll draw a winner from all the Seeing Double October entries and make the announcement on the Two Peas blog at the beginning of November.
