They say "God is in the details" - I love the way you cut the tiny letter stickers into a shape that echoed the chevrons you used at the top! Those tiny touches are truly the difference between an okay layout and a striking one.
I really really Love this and I really really wish I had this card from Antropologie (that I either discarded or used, hopefully used).
Love the kraft on kraft arrows at the top and the strips of striped paper bordering your l/o. Maria
So much to love, as always! Very inspired by the tone-on-tone, and cutting banners from the letter tiles is sheer genius!! Never apologize for a creative mess. :)
Sweet journaling. xo, Marian
There is so much to love about this layout, I don't even know where to start!!! I really like how you altered the pretty mail to fit your layout, great idea. Thanks for sharing.
Video - 213 in 2013 with Shannon Tidwell: Best Year Yet
by Shannon Tidwell
Hi and welcome to another 213 in 2013 video! This week I decided to continue with the ‘ME’ theme of the month…but I expanded it just a tad to include my husband. So it's an US layout, but I figure that's a big part of me.:)
I am included FOUR new prompts for you this week:
1. To use some pretty mail on your layout.
2. To add a large circle to the background of your layout.
3. To make your own large numbers or letters.
4. To create a subtle embellishment with tone on tone cardstock.
You can watch the layout come together here:
CHALLENGE: Don't forget to upload your layout using at least one of the 213 in 2013 prompts from the month. You'll be entered to win a $10 gift certificate to 2peas given away on the 2peas blog at the beginning of November.
