hey @linda & @nightmer! I plan to just leave those spaces as they are. I'll work with that clear space from the other side so it stays clear. So that means with the veneer piece I'll just add something, like a photo, to the wood part, but still let the feather show through :) Hope that helps!
love it as usual Lexi. I have the same question as Linda. Will you leave the pockets on the back of those clear sections empty so that they stay "clear" or use another clear element in that spot? TFS
Very cute video and spread as always. I love the catagram. I don't have kids yet so my kitty is in a lot of my pictures.
This is so cute, as always. How do you handle the clear when you turn the page?
Video - project life: adding YOU to your spreads

Hello there, Peas! I'm here today with another lesson in the weekly Project Life series where myself and a few other Garden Girls will share tips and tricks as we assemble our Project Life spreads. A new lesson in this series can be viewed in the videos section each Saturday.
For today's spread I went a bit neutral. I used several of the exclusive printables this month, which have a neutral black/white/grey color scheme. These are perfect to add in with any collection or colors you have going.
Because the theme this month is “All About Me” (or YOU as the case is) I wanted that to be my challenge. Not that the entire spread is just me, but I am represented in three of the pockets, which is more than usual. You can go about this in a few different ways: of course you could just include your handwriting, or a receipt from your fave store or your lunch or something along those lines, but I was thinking more like getting IN the photo. That's right. For some of us, that may not be a big deal, you scrap about yourself all the time. That's cool. For others, it might truly be a challenge because we are always the ones BEHIND the camera, never in front. Now is as good of a time as any to get in a photo. In this day and age the worst that can happen…is you delete it!
I mention a few ideas to do this in the video…the ever popular selfie, a feet photo (let's laugh about this together in the video), get a self timer app for your phone, or pass the camera on to a friend or your kiddo. In any case, get IN the picture, add it to your project life spread and load it into the gallery. At the end of the month a winner from all the challenge participants will be drawn and receive a $10 gift certificate announced on the Two Peas blog.
And as a side mini challenge (I just made that up) add a few clear elements to your spread. This week I utilized the negative space from a wood veneer card and a super cool transparency.
Thanks so much for watching. Enjoy your Saturday!
