Lisa, I really like the way you balanced the block of photos with the "pie chart". Great photos too. Maria
Love it! Thx for the inspiration.
Just brilliant Lisa!
Hi Candace! Thanks for watching :). That font is Branboll!
Hi Lisa. I love your pie chart! Can you please tell me the name of the free font you used for the "autumn" cut-out? I didn't quite catch it on the video and don't see it listed on the website. Thank you!
Video - Seeing Double: Enjoy Autumn with Lisa Dickinson
Happy Friday! In today's video, I'm creating a pie chart design element on both a layout and a card. I love these simple, graphic charts and they make it easy to incorporate lots of colors and patterns on your page.
I'm using a 6x6 paper pad from the Studio Calico “Thataway” collection on both projects. The autumnal hues and subtle patterns in this travel line are ideal for fall - lots of oranges, yellows, crimsons and jades! The video will demonstrate how I used the papers to create a colorful and textural paper element as well as walk you through some of my design choices.
Thanks so much for watching and please let me know if you have comments or questions!
CHALLENGE: Use at least five (5) sheets from a 6x6 paper pad on a layout. Post your project to the Seeing Double Challenge Gallery to be eligible to win a $10 Two Peas gift certificate. The winner will be announced on the Two Peas blog in early December.
