Beautiful layout and card! Love the use of color wash. So glad the video got fixed. Thx!!
Jen, we love your work and your videos! Will be waiting until it gets fixed :)
Has the video been taken down? I'm only seeing the photos and no link to start the video
The page is beautiful, Jen.
I'm so sorry to hear the video is freezing. :( I have notified, Jamie, but I am out of town for the next week or so and can't reupload it until then. Man, I hate it when technical things go wrong.
You need to find out what's wrong with this video. Keeps freezing.
Video - Seeing Double: Born to Dance + Card
For today's “Seeing Double” video I created both a layout and a card. Each of the items features the following popular trends: water colored papers and elements, spray mist, and similar patterned papers, embellishments, etc.
I love the soft, color washed look of so many items on the market right now. Whether you do these techniques yourself or whether you purchase supplies on which they are already done for you (like the pre-misted patterned paper from American Crafts), you can still get that artistic feel.
Be sure to watch the start-to-finish video, as I share some tips and tricks for using the Heidi Swapp “Color Wash” mist and products. I recently took a class from Heidi and learned some fun ways to use mist that I hadn't before.
CHALLENGE: Use a watercolor, washed-out look in your next project! We'll draw from all the Seeing Double challenge entries in November and draw a winner at the beginning of next month. Watch the Two Peas blog for the announcement.
Below I've suggested products with this same feel, as well as, the products I used in this video. Be sure to check out all of the “Seeing Double” videos released each Friday!
