I love that you showed your ink mishap and then showed how you handled it. That was awesome! I would have been sorely tempted to take the card with the worst of the spill off of the page and replace it with something else.
super page GG! And great use of the twine! I never know what to do with it although I loge the product! I just think you were a genius with repairing the big blob of mist at the bottom of the page!
I always have ink or paint on my fingers when I work no matter how careful I think I'm being :). I have to tell you that your 3 videos you did earlier this year on weddings inspired me to get out my supplies and pictures from my daughters wedding (5 yrs ago) and get back to it to get it done. It clicked with me about using a repeating color scheme and repeating embellishments. That's all I needed to be re-inspired!!! THANK YOU!
Great job on working around that "mist-take"! You made all of those different colors look so good together; I'm never brave enuff to do this. Maria
Great job of saving your layout! Loved the Baker's twine and that's not just because my last name is Baker!!!
Absolutely love it! Now I can dive into my twine collection!
Video - Glitter Girl Adventure 099: Read between the Twine
This week Glitter Girl takes on the challenge of using baker's twine for something other than just tying a cute little bow here or there, inspired by this discussion [twopeasinabucket.com] on the General Scrapping message board. Her adventure takes her through a new layered layout from start to finish, with a few different uses of twine. It also takes an unexpected turn when she gets a bit out of control with the Color Shine!
Come along for the adventure, won't you?
Of course Glitter Girl challenges YOU to use twine now! Create a new project with baker's twine in any style and upload it to the gallery to share it with us. Don't forget to check the box for this challenge in step 4 of the uploading process.
Happy scrapping - and don't be shy in contributing a question for Glitter Girl's 100th episode!
