Thanks for the intro to the 2x2 pockets-looks fun!
I love this! Curious do you worry about the back? You just slip it in between your project life layouts? This is such a fun size!
I've sent a message to try and get it working :)
not sure why the video isn't working here. I sent a message :)
This is such a fun and cool looking spread. I've been wanting to try 2x2, and you've made it look easy. (I couldn't open the video here, but I was able to watch it on TwoPeas youtube channel.)
Video - project life: 2x2 style (with two peas printables)
Galleries: Scrapbooking, Project Life
Hello there, Peas! I'm here today with another lesson in the weekly Project Life series where myself and a few other Garden Girls will share tips and tricks as we assemble our Project Life spreads. A new lesson in this series can be viewed in the videos section each Saturday.
I am loving the 2x2 style pockets! There are new ones in the shop in this fun size (as well as 3x3 and 4x4) by October Afternoon. It's a great way to include several photos and perfect for the exclusive Two Peas printables that are now available! In the video, you can see how quickly a spread like this can come together when the color scheme is picked out for you (thank you, printables) and you have several photos ready to slip into your page protector.
I stuck with a pretty neutral theme, letting the gold & silver printables take the lead on that. Because I do sew on my spreads, I used gold metallic thread this time. Hey, ‘tis the season for gold thread ;) I’ve learned the key to sewing with metallic thread is take it slow.
Check out the video and while you are at it, think about this challenge: use a 2x2 pocket (or 3x3, 4x4) and your Two Peas printables! Don't have this size in your stash? You could get crafty and create one using a plain page protector and sewing in your lines for photos, etc. Load your PL spread into the gallery and at the end of the month, a winner from all the challenge participants will be drawn and receive a $10 gift certificate announced on the Two Peas blog.
Thanks for watching and happy Saturday!
