|Posted: 5/19/2012 11:38:11 PM|I love the idea of making a "me" album, so that my son can maybe learn some things about his mom that he didn't know when he gets older.
Anyway, here's the problem: I have absolutely no idea where to begin! can anyone recommend some resources to help me at least get started, pretty please. Do any of you peas know of a website, blog, or even a thread or two on here that has suggestions or weekly challenges geared towards this type of album?
I guess for now, I'm looking more for a guide to hold my hand and help me get started. Any suggestions you gals might have would be greatly appreciated.

Once you get started you probably cannot stop anymore.
Google something like scrapbook all about me and there are a lot of things coming up there. Or you can browse the gallery and look for the layouts under 'ME'.
Or, just start with a funny page on your favorite colour or 10 things you love. What about an ABC book on you? The contents of your purse?
I have a separate album where I put the pages in that are about me. I do not have an album full but now and then I can add a page.

Debbi T used to run a Childhood Challenge here. You can find 95 linked challenges in the archive thread - there will have to be something here that can get you started:

There are linked lo's in most of those threads, including quite a few without photos. Some of us also reused the same photo to tell more than one story if we needed to.

There are 59 topics on it for scrapping "All About Me".

Simple things - like my fav Starbucks drink; a layout made with my fav color and explaining why it's my fav color; top 10 fav movies of all time, or just one specific year/decade....
Any little thing you enjoy doing, can be inspiration for a page in a "Me album." HTH!

Cathy z also has an a-z version she does every so often about herself. It was a class I think?? Can't remember now but the basic concept was have a little notebook with a letter on each page and you write down any words about you that start with that letter. Then you use those words to journal for that letter and find a corresponding picture to go with it. Am I making sense? I don't feel like I am lol! Sure the info is on her blog and she had digital templates too if you wanted to go that route.

There is also a Pieces of Me workshop starting here at Twopeas on June 1st. You can sign up now though.
I have always wanted to do a me book, figured this workshop would be a great way to at least get something documented.
