This is a throw-sized /generous crib which I just finished up as a donation for auction. The print fabrics are from my cherished collection of Kaffe Fasset prints, interspersed with kona solids. The chevron pattern was quick and easy to piece, and my quilting is just a loose loopy free motion all-over design. I backed it with a graphic, black and white text print from Ikea (one of my favorite backings right now.

Hopefully someone will like the intense color and shell out some $$ for Community Living Homes in our area

I LOVE this - it's beautiful. Love the bright colors, the chevron design and the backing! I hope it's a wild success...chevrons are very popular right now, so that was a wise choice! Best wishes.

The chevron pattern is gorgeous and the contrast with the backing just makes it even more stunning. Wow!

Kaffe Fasset prints are always a hit, so I'm sure your quilt will bring a high bid! And I love that backing. I had no idea Ikea had fabric. Off to check the website.

That's a gorgeous quilt!

I haven't sewn anything in ages and have no need for more supplies, but I'm going to take myself down to Ikea for some of that backing fabric.

I just finished pinning a chevron quilt - now all I need is time to quilt it. Yours is very pretty and I'm sure it will bring in some good money at the auction.
