I just cannot decide. Silly question, I know! We will get a brushed nickel finish. I've always sworn by the two handles (one for cold, one for hot), but the more I think about it, wondering now if the one handle is just easier. Thoughts?!

Definitely one. So much easier to mix the temperatures before the water comes out!

That's kind of the way I was starting to think...one handle, kids wouldn't have to mess with two. Now to find the right one!

I go back and forth on this issue all the time. Whatever I pick out, I'll invariably think I should have chose the other. For young children, I do think the single handle makes it easier. But other than that, it really comes down to aesthetics for for me.

I prefer the look of two handles. I have kids and they do just fine with two.

We have two handles now and I like them/have always liked them. (I pitched a superfit when we had to replace our bathtub handles - plumber put in the one handle thing). Our bathrooms are 50+ years old, and the faucets are leaking, so need to get this done so we can actually use them. My little one has never had a problem with the two handles; so maybe I should stick with what I like best!! Thanks for the input!!

Definitely two. I don't like how the water tends to come out full blast with the one handle type. In regard to small children, the one handle type can be physically hard to turn on the water for them, IMO. I can't see buying based on their needs anyway. You'll have the faucet for far longer than the kids will be small.

I chose one handle last time I replaced a bathroom faucet. I figured it was one less handle to clean!

2. I love the look of 2 and it really isn't a big deal to adjust temperature.

I have two in the bathroom and that's the way it will stay. I went with one in the kitchen and I dislike it.

I have this Moen double-handled faucet in ORB and I love it. It's not difficult at all to adjust the temperature, and I like the clearance for hand washing.

We always go with two. My parents always used the one handle faucets and my dad was forever fixing and tightening them.

I like single handles. This is what we put into our bathroom. We get compliments on it all the time. They were expensive (plus a double sink) but worth it. http://www.deltafaucet.com/bath/details/754lf.html

Now in the kitchen, I prefer one-go figure!

Thanks for all of the input. I've decided I still like two, so I'm sticking with that. Now to narrow it down. I just want to get this done!

Keep in mind about cleaning 2 handles. We purchased two handles with 3"(?) centres. If you do 2 handles attached to the faucet it is sometimes awkward to clean that little space in between.

I like 2 handles in the bathroom. But they have to be the long handles, not the round ones. The long ones are easier to turn on with dirty hands without getting the handle dirty, if that makes sense.

i'll be changing mine out to 1 handle. both baths and the kitchen. It's easier and levers are easier on my hands. (same with door knobs)

One lever, as opposed to a knob, is much easier to operate whether you have dexterity issues or really dirty hands.

I prefer 2. One is more kitchen-y to me. Also my kids are less likely to burn themselves when they only have to turn on the cold, and not try and mix temps.

We just renovated 4 bathrooms and we did 3 with a single handle. We got the grohe faucets from there concetto line and I love them. They always look great, the kids find them so easy, they look so modern, and the water flow is unbelieva ,e, I love how the water flows away from the faucet. I'm very happy!

We have two handles in all of our bathrooms (except that one on the darned tub that the plumber switched out) and one handle in our kitchen. Paigepea, that Grohe line is very sleek looking, nice. Our bathrooms are very old though, and we will have to use a 4" centerset type. I just realized Amazon has faucets; who knew?! So I'm checking those, and their reviews, out now.

One.
Much easier to use if you break a wrist, arm, hand or simply have dexterity issues or dirty hands.
