During surgery there were a number of complications; then after surgery had even more. Tonight is first night I feel even human.
I am alive; I have an ICD implanted. |

I am so sorry that you are having such a difficult time, but PRAISE the LORD that you are alive and on the mend.
We'll continue to keep you in our prayers. You continue to rest and think positive, healing thoughts.
Are you still in ICU? Can you see your children? Is the hospital food good, or are you on a liquid/IV diet yet? Have they got you up and walking?

I imagine the complications feel very discouraging, but I'm glad you could update us, and I'll pray you start down a smoother road now. Being alive is a gift for all of us, and it's worth the complications.

Hospital food sucks
I did eat some watermelon today
Today was my first day up since surgery
On cardiac ward not ICU
Husband and son came to visit today; I give my daughter nightmares after she comes 
Still issues with 
nausea; no IV;
One day at a time; one fight at a time; that gets me through.
Thanks for all the prayers an PT they have been heard and answered through out this whole saga!!!! |
