It seems that's the popular say, although I'm sure some of you have 1 color.

I love opening my cupboards and seeing all the assorted colors...makes me happy. I know I would get bored with just one color.

Oh H3LL to the yeah!
BUT, we tend to only have 4 or 5 colors at present...out of the 12 or 15 out, we only don't like about 2 or 3...
can't wait to get glass doors on my kitchen cabinets and get them backlit so I can show 'em off!

I have all persimmon (discontinued) but its nice to have the option to mix it up if some of my pieces get broken or I get bored with just the one color. |

I have only one color right now, but would love to add another color or two! Of course I need to find more room in my kitchen cabinets for it. They are pretty stuffed right now and that discourages me from buying more. |

I do. I didn't even buy place settings of any one color. I bought all my pieces a la carte. In several colors I have only one item like a plate or bowl. |

I have a full set of black. I was a 20 year old clueless bride, I thought all black would look elegant. it has lasted 16 years of daily use and still looks great. If I had the space I'd add colors. |

I have just one of each color, and as others have already said, it's fun to play around with different combinations.
I like it when I'm unloading the dishwasher and find two random colors together that I never considered would look as good together as they do.

Yes, I mix them to an extent.
My spring/summer set is lemongrass, sunflower,
Peacock, & cobalt.
Fall/winter set is cinnabar, marigold & plum.
But, I also have a full 8 sets of
Cinnabar for when I want a more formal look.
I'm considering adding tangerine to the spring
set.

Yes, I mix all of mine, I have most of the new colors. I don't own any pastels.
I don't have white/cream, purple or that pinkish limited edition color, or brown.
I like how Delany described it once, she said her cupboards looked like Rainbow Brite threw up in there, lol. That's exactly how it looks! |

Mixing colors is precisely why I wanted Fiestaware. I have three settings of six colors, and will be adding more to my Christmas list this year.
We are a family of six, so three settings means I can mix two colors and set a full table. My serving dishes are all in three of those six colors. |

I'm mixing mine. I have 6 sets of the lemongrass, 2 sets of Scarlet, and 2 sets of Turquoise. I would like to get two sets of Tangerine and 2 sets of Shamrock. I have 3 daughters, so I always have to have enough to divide up evenly. That means after I buy the Tangerine and Shamrock sets I'll need another 4 sets in two different colors. Love my reasoning?
My oldest dd likes Plum and my middle dd likes Peacock. I was hoping the Flamingo was going to be a bright pink because my youngest dd likes pink. I was so disappointed when I saw it. It looks like salmon. |

We do have three colours though ... cobalt, sunflower and turquoise ... I love how they look together

I only recently started collecting, and we have 4 place sets in different colors and a few other random pieces I've been able to snag up at good prices! I can't wait to get different colors . I don't think we will ever but the neutrals though.. Too boring. . I actually enjoy doing my dishes now as they are so pretty |

I have 6 place settings...all different colors. I figure by the time I get all the colors, they will be retiring some and adding new ones...so I don't think I ever want to duplicate colors. |

I used to have 23 colors of Post 86 Fiesta, but now I only have three colors (with a preponderance of Persimmon).
And I used to have six colors of Vintage Fiesta, but now I only have four.
(My tastes definitely changed in 22 years. I no longer liked the cacophony of color in my cabinets, especially the mix of pastels, brights, and jewel tones.)

I have bought mostly pieces, so I have one or two of every color except black, white, and ivory. Of course I started collecting last Spring and now there are only 3 of us at home, and I use the luncheon/buffet for myself. But someday... |
