The fact that he has spent more money than the past 90 years of all Presidents combined, hardly makes him the greatest President. |

Lincoln had a troubled presidency, a fractured union and today, we regard him as one of our greatest leaders.

We have often asserted and we affirm it yet again that no fact in history is better attested than the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. It must not be denied by any who are willing to pay the slightest respect to the testimony of their fellow men. That Jesus, who died upon the cross, and was buried in the tomb of Joseph of Arimathea, did literally rise again from the dead. (excerpted from Dance Your Shoes Off, Second Baptist Church)

I wonder how many of the people on this thread thought the same thing about Bush? I remember a couple of peas saying just that, and very loudly too. I don't think history will be kind to him AT ALL. Hell, his own party has practically disowned him.
Obama, on the other hand? Is awesome. |

We'll see what happens in the next four years. Right now, unemployment filings have hit a record 18-month high.
The number of food stamp recipients hit a record as well. Personally, that's not the mark of greatness, but I dont' know what he's aiming for. |
