Right now I am just shooting for getting the tree up and decorated...soon. I have presents stacked in my craft room waiting to be wrapped. Guess I'm running a little behind this year, but I will get there. We are not planning on visitors until the weekend before Christmas, so I have a little bit of time yet.

Everything that I have that is not for my kids is under the tree. I have some more stuff arriving tomorrow and then I will be just about done.

I think we are pretty much just doing stockings this year, so no real presents under the tree. We have the PJs so I guess closer to Christmas Eve.

As soon as I get the rest of the ornaments on the tree and sweep the needles off the floor.

I got the last gift to a kid that is from dh and I in the mail today, so will wrap that tomorrow and it will go under the tree when its wrapped. the other gifts for the kids are under the tree already.

I need to wrap dh's gifts and the ones for my parents and then get them under the tree. I will likely do those tomorrow as well.

I haven't wrapped any of the gifts from Santa yet but they will get wrapped by the end of next week and under the tree on Christmas Eve.

I only have two gifts in the house so far, and I haven't bought any wrapping paper yet. DH is a procrastinator and won't even start shopping until the week before Christmas. As long as they're all under there on Christmas Eve (when we will mst likely open presents), we're good!

I've got 2 more to put under and I'm done. The rest are there already. I'm excited to be ahead this year except for my husband's family's gifts which we will need to use Amazon for.

It's all done. I'm finished my shopping and my wrapping, and it's all under the tree.

DH, on the other hand, hasn't started.

On Christmas Eve, as always. Shopping is done, wrapping will be done this weekend, but nothing goes under the tree until Christmas Eve.

Well we don't even have our tree yet - it's so hard to get all of us together at once to go get one! I'm about 1/2 done buying gifts and will start wrapping this weekend. Hopefully we will have a tree to put them under by then!

Anything that isn't for the kids goes under the tree Christmas Eve morning. Santa brings the kids' gifts (in their Santa wrap) after they are in bed.

I put out any non-kids gifts as soon as they are wrapped. So, right now I have a few under there.

On Christmas Eve, the kids put out their Santa Sacks and I fill them after they go to bed. NO wrapping required! They just wake up open them up.

We won't put anything out until Christmas Eve. Too hard to control the littles. I probably won't start wrapping for another week, until most, if not all, shopping is complete.

We have about a third of them under there right now. I wrapped them last night.

This is Texas. We don't have regular seasons here. We have Summer 1, Summer 2, Summer 3 and January.

We are going christmas shopping this weekend, and finishing up the 5 days before christmas as my DH has a big chunk of time off then. Usually I'd be done by now, but have just been too busy w/work, and some other things. Plus, I like shopping with hubby and get tired of doing it all myself. (we discuss and decide what to get, but I want someone to shop with)

I will probably have to wait till Christmas Eve to put the gifts under the tree.

My dog seems to think any wrapped package is for him.

I may try and put a couple out. He does ok and leaves them alone if I am home with him. The problem is I don't trust him on his own but I don't want to put packages out of his reach every time I leave the house. So for now they aren't under the tree.

If he wasn't so darn cute ripping into his own presents on Christmas I'd try and train him to leave them alone completely. But I can't! He has as much fun tearing into that shinny paper as he does playing with whatever new toy "Santa" brought him.

I'm wrapping tonight... at least everything I can find from all the places I stuck gifts as they came in. Ha.

We are hosting my husband's office dinner party tomorrow night and I want to have some presents under the trees. I think it looks so much more festive and Christmassy with gifts under them.

Other than surprise gifts, everything goes under the tree as it's wrapped.

Question for those who say "Christmas Eve only", why so?

When do I HOPE to have them wrapped and under the tree? That has no relation to when it will actually get done. I can HOPE all I want, and I do every year, but it's usually just a few days before Christmas when I get to it.
Maybe this year will be the year I change the pattern.

I also wrap and put them under as I buy them. So I have 4 or 5 things under there now. After the family gift exchange next weekend most will be gone. I'll be finishing my shopping next weekend, then everything will be wrapped and under the tree. Then Santa will bring the gifts from him Christmas eve.

I can't wrap too early because the dog loves to tear them open when we leave the house. I will probably get them done the weekend before Christmas because me or someone will be here all the time then to keep a watch on him

I really don't like the way presents look under my tree. I like it better without presents.

My tree's branches go almost all the way tithe floor. When I add ornaments they do go all the way to the floor. Plus I like my pretty tree skirt.

Presents for people who don't live at our house (nieces, nephews, parents, etc.) will get wrapped and stored in bags in the garage until we put them in the car on the way to the appropriate celebration.

My kids' presents will get wrapped and stored in the garage until the 23rd or so. I'll wait until the last minute so I can look at my pretty tree without the gifts getting in the way.

Lol being a single mom on an extremely limited income I just hope to have some under the tree. Haha! I will probably not put any out until Christmas Eve this year. There will not be much and I have a 1 yr old that I can imagine will take great fun in wrapping packages lol
