We had a beautiful day. Temps reached the 70's both yesterday and today which is unusually warm. DH and I went to the Atlanta Zoo and I was surprised to see some trees and bushes in bloom along the way and at the zoo. I hope that they will still bloom in the spring, when they are supposed to. We have rain on the way along with cooler temps so I am sure that all of the blooms will be gone shortly.

it's $#X%@* cold here!! We have a freeze warning in effect till Tuesday or Wednesday- the daytime temps are barely 50 F, and the nighttime lows are in the high 20's... it stinks! I'm not sure what will happen to some of our plants- we've been covering some of them, and protecting some of our cacti, but we can't cover everything. We'll see...

ETA: we live about 30 minutes south of Phoenix, so we're more out in the open- temps at our house run 5-10 degrees colder than up in the Valley (nice in the summer, bad in the winter).

Cold and getting colder. We had an ice storm yesterday followed by a bit of snow... there's still some snow on the ground and what little melted today is starting to freeze again. Going to be a bad night on the roads.

I am in the North Okanagan, BC, Canada.

We have been lucky this winter; the weather is not too cold and we have had snow but not too much.

Temps are just above zero for next week during the day and just below for the night. Not much snow predicted (that is high twenties to high thirties in Fahrenheit). There is enough snow on the mountains to keep the skiers happy (30 minutes from my house to do that) so that is great.

Because of the snow and ice and temperatures my neighbor's gutter is overflowing with snow and ice and there are some lethal icicles hanging above my heat pump. On top of the pump is a big pile of ice that is sometimes melting a little which makes a lot of noise if it falls in the pump when it is on. I will try to remove it this week with hot water or so.

Cold! It was 6F when we left for church this morning. At least the sun is shining. Could be worse. It was -15F at my mom's house on the other side of the state this morning.

Zero when we left for church this morning. My face hurt as we hurried across the parking lot. I think our high today was 13. It's supposed to be up to 20 tomorrow afternoon, first time out of the teens since Thursday. This CA girl is not made for cold weather.

I live on the southwest Florida coast. It was A-MAZING today, and has been for several days lately. Lows in the 50s/60s at night, highs in the 80s with a slight breeze. I almost feel guilty.

Almost.

Same with me. I'm on vacation in Sanibel Florida for two weeks. Beautiful, breezy with highs in the mid 80s. Just got out of the hot tub and pool. Husband and I had the hot tub and pool to ourselves. Between that and the fact that the Ravens won yesterday, we are in H-E-A-V-E-N!!!

We're supposed to have our coldest night tonight. High
20's maybe. DS just took the garbage cans out and came
back saying it's freezing outside.

Freezing. It's 39 right now at 8:40pm here in so cal. I'm 8 miles from the beach.
It was 31 when I went to work this morning.
I'm guessing it'll be colder tonight because it's colder now than it was last night at this time
My plants are freezing and dying

We only set our heater to 45 so it's darn cold in our house too

I have been too cold for over two weeks.

Freezing here in N. California! It's getting down into the low 20's at night...I realize that's nothing for a lot of people but it's extremely rare for us. I haven't been warm in weeks! It's also not helping the gas/electric bill; between the Christmas lights from last month and the heater running all the time, our latest bill was over $400.

I live in Alaska but you wouldn't know it!! It was 45* today and has been raining since yesterday. We have rain covered ice. It is a mess! We have had 3 snow falls so far this winter. Then wind so we have no snow cover. My yard is grass. It is so weird. It feels more like March/April than it does January. Usually by know we have several feet of packed snow and temps that average in the 20*'s.

It was 68 here yesterday- nuts! I had the windows open in January. I was hoping that people could air out their houses and get rid of the viruses that are going around.

very UNseasonably warm (high 50's) for New England... tho it is forecasted to get colder in the next few days.

Second winter with milder than usual temperatures... Thank Goodness, since our heating oil is almost $4. / gallon

Horribly hot! This is winter for pete sake! We hit 78 Saturday and mid 70s on Sunday. Broke a 100 year record by several degrees from what I was told.

BRING ON THE FREEZE!! Bring on the ice and (please oh please!) snow! If we do not get at least 5 days of freezing temps we'll have a HELLISH summer with fleas and other bugs galore.
