I noticed that I am using them more and more. So yeah, I like them, maybe even love them, on layouts. What about you?

I got some in the new SC kit. I'm not a big fan as I have never gone geo catching and am clueless about it. I also have seen lots of stamps. None I need though.

I have been wondering how everyone felt about this trend. I personally dont get it and why we would want them on our pages if we have never done the sport? It has no meaning to me!

I don't have any geotag stamps or anything, haven't used them on any pages, but I like them. I don't associate them with geocaching, just with indicating locations in general, though.

I kinda like them if I just think about them in terms of location and not just for the geo thing that I know nothing about.

i LOVE geotags. I don't geocache, but the geotags are prominent in Instagram and other mapping applications like google maps.

I saw a scrapbooking video on here in the past couple months or so where those things were used. I had no idea what they were until I was on a website recently that had them - you clicked on it to show your location. I still didn't know what they were called until I saw this thread. So I guess they'd be good for travel layouts perhaps?

I love maps & geotags and use them just about everywhere. This may be a generational thing as I grew up using google maps or mapquest for just about everything, and geotags are prominent there. I didn't actually realize they were related to geocaching.

They are okay. For me, I see myself using them more in my travel album when I'm highlighting a certain location. Like I've already done using the ones that came in the sc kit.

this is by far my favorite trend right now! most of my pages are travel pages so its a fun embellishment for them. i've never geocached in my life, but whenever you google a location, it uses a geotag to point to it on the map. i didn't associate it with the "sport" until you ladies just mentioned it =)

I agree that it's probably generational or rather from the internet. It fits very much into the popularity of scrapping supplies that have references to websites and apps like the instagram badges and things saying 'like this' from facebook

I think Geotags are a cute little extra to add to a layout. I had never thought of it as Geocaching, only as the little symbol like on Facebook to show a location. Perfect to add next to journaling about where you were in the photo!

I like the geotags, though I wouldn't likely use a ton. I am betting I could use enough on travel pages to get some of the veneer geotags, though.

I think they could be used to mark anywhere you go. Not just a trip, but going out to eat or anywhere. They are sort of cute.

I also don't just connect them to Geocaching.

I like the idea of them, but I'm not planning to start using them until they "catch on" a bit more. That Memory Keeping Monday LO is cute, but when I first saw it I thought "what are those things?" I don't want that to happen when people are looking at my pages.

I have never heard of geocatching?! Geotags, as others have said, are used on sites like Facebook & Instagram when you check in with your location so that is how I would use them on a layout, to denote the place that the photos were taken. the majority of my layouts are either from going on holiday or days out so can definitely see me using these.

I've seen a couple of cool stamps sets I'd really like primarily because they include a small geotag image! just hope I'm able to actually get one of them in the UK
