I haven't. I just can't imagine where they would be displayed or what to do with them when we die. No, just no. But to each their own.

Yes, I did for our 10th anniversary. The pics I chose are hanging in our bedroom. We do not have kids and I was dressed in nice lingerie/floor length gown (In one) in all of them. I had them done at Glamour Shots at the mall. They were very tastefully done and they made me feel very comfortable. (And I am NOT comfortable being dressed like that for anyone but DH. )I had them do my make-up VERY naturally as DH does not like a lot of heavy make-up and I wanted to look as natural as possible.

I would do it again...and might again for our 20th, after losing 45 lbs.

Yes, I did - no nudes. Yikes. lol I gave them to him for Christmas (on christmas eve when we were alone). He really liked them. I made them into an album so he could look at when he wanted.
I wore his cowboy hat and jeans in one, one of his shirts (pink), a maxi dress that I think I look good in, a bustier and my "lucky shirt" that I've had for like 10 years and still look good in. ha. I did several hats too.

I did and I did nudes and wasn't expecting to. I gave DH the cd and made him a book he keeps in his desk or takes with him when he travels...

It was a lot of fun!

I had them done a few wks ago for myself lol. It was a congratulations to myself after losing 80 pounds this yr and also for still looking good after the incredible stress I've been under this yr. someday I will give them to someone special in my life. I wasn't nude but did do some with tasteful lingerie. I love them sooo much. I want to show them to everybody lol!

I definitely say every woman should do them. You will never be as young as you are right now, and probably not as thin either! So take some pictures!

I'm glad I had some sexy shots taken several years ago even though I am no longer with the man who inspired the shoot. The guy is long gone but I have some great pics of everything pointing UP.

I had some of my maternity photos done boudoir. No nudes, though you can see my breasts through sheer fabric in a few. it was an accident but DH loves them.

DH loves my pregnant body, and this is our last baby so I thought I'd do some photos so we can remember this precious time. I am going to put them together in a book for DH.

Also I would love to get a boob job someday, after I lose all the baby weight. If I work that hard, I'll have the pics done as a reward to myself.

I felt so good in my pics, and she made me look beautiful. They are tasteful and classy. Not porn. Some of them I am wearing only DH's shirt and panties and some only panties with my hands placed so you can't see nip. I am so glad I did them.

I took some self-portrait boudoir shots a few months ago. Dh was very pleased with them.

If I could afford to have professional shots done at some point, I definitely would.

I think women often think they are too old, or too overweight, or their body is not 'good enough' for intimate or erotic photos. I think women should be comfortable with who they are 'now'. Our partners love us and desire us for who we are, not who we wish we could be.

If boudoir photos are just not someone's 'thing' or they just have no interest, that is fine. But if someone 'wants' to do some but is holding back because they are nervous about it or feel they do not have the right 'look' I urge them to reconsider.

I will be 50 next year. I am overweight. I have horrible stretch marks from pregnancy. I have rosacea and imperfect skin. My nose is too big.

But I think my boudoir photos turned out nicely. Good lighting and posing can maximize one's good features and minimize the not so good A professional photographer will know how to help you look your best and will, I am sure, produce photos that you will be proud of and that your dh will love.

Enjoy your shoot! I bet you will be so glad you did it, as will your dh!

Posed? No. Shot? Yes. I think it's a great thing to do first for yourself and second for someone else. I'm currently not interested in doing it, but maybe someday.

i did some when DH and i had been dating a year and a half and i was about to move halfway across country. something to remember me by. i was pretty shy then and revealing tho not nude, he was very impressed that i had done it for him. they were in a little photobook. i just came across it in our keepsake box recently and it was really neat to go thru with him again.

i've also done retro pin up shots with a photog named roy varga. they do your hair, makeup, it was soooo much fun. i did that last year and put the pics on facebook lol. no nudes, just some vintage dresses and a corset outfit, less revealing than your standard bathing suit. can't wait to do that again!

I would not, as I don't like looking at pictures of myself. Big change from 20 yrs. ago when I was a kid and loved to have my picture taken.

I think that is a great gift for the husband to give their wives too.

When we were looking at homes to buy, we visited a home that the wife had these shots all over the house. There were several nude shots, including the one hanging over the fireplace in the living room. We had my adult son and his wife with us. My son could not get out of the house soon enough! While they might have been great for the homeowner, I think they were over the top when showing a home for sale. We still laugh about the naked house.

By researching photographers in your area.
There are a lot on mainstream photographers doing them.

I shoot them, haven't done a session yet, but plan to. For me, it isn't about the perfect weight, age, or anything else. Every woman is beautiful and deserves to see and feel it. I work hard to help women move in ways that are most flattering to them. I ask them up front what part of their body they are uncomfortable with (if any) and the three things they love about themselves and we work from there. I work on site with a makeup artist who is amazing and works so well with my clients. It is not a serious process, it is a lot of laughing, being goofy (both me and the clients) and having fun. My favorite shots of my clients are the ones when they are truly laughing, from the heart. I want every woman to leave feeling like a million bucks! It just so happens their significant other gets a great gift from it!

As for what to do with them, most sessions are very tasteful, clothed or the illusion of nudity so displaying them is not an issue. I also shoot headshots during their session so hubby has something to be able to display at work if he so chooses. All of my packages involve accordian albums, books and albums and most ladies add on prints too!

Something I encourage you to do- talk about retouching upfront with the photographer. Different clients have different expecations and I always want to be sure I am the right fit for them. I do not add or take away body parts. I smooth skin out, take care of pimples and make sure you look good, but I do not make you taller, thinner, add 6pack abs (yes there is an area photographer who does that) etc. I am of the mindset that I know my husband knows what I look like and loves who I am. If I give him a photgraph with no baby belly, 6 pack abs and skinny thighs, he isn't getting a photo of ME. But I also know that no everyone thinks that way! So I talk a lot with client's ahead of time and if they are looking for full alterations, I will refer them to someone else who does what they are looking for!

Have fun with your session and let us know what you think afterwards!!!

Alison

No not me but I saw this car once with the girls pic in Vinyl on the back of her car.

I drove next to her to see if it was her hubby but it was her driving!

So I say as long as your hubby isn't putting them on the back of his car....have fun!
