I have the black Canon Celphy CP800. It was black but the power cord and the Paper Cassette was white.
Now I just opened my White Celphy CP900 and the power cord and paper cassette are black.
Is that normal?
If you have the white one,what color is your cassette and cord?

I ordered the white and I will be watching this thread. I hate when you pay more for a white appliance and the power cord is black. Makes no sense! | |

Especially when you know they make it in white because you have one. I am just scared of mixing cords. I a, sure it is ok but I don't want to chance it. |

I have a black Selphy 900 with a white cord and white paper tray.
What dust cover did you not get? I didn't know they had dust covers. Is this for the entire printer?

No. When I look at the manual it mentions it...it connects to the back I guess. But it mentions a different paper tray and has * next to it..so maybe it doesn't come with standard tray.
Why would you get white and I get black? I would prefer my whole thing be white. |

Maybe they put the cords and trays in the box before the printers and they don't care what color is already in there? It is kind of odd. |

If I get a white unit with a black tray, I will be calling Canon to see if they can fix that. that seems wrong, especially when the white cost some of us more! | |

Oh yuck! I JUST got my new, white Selphy in last night, but I haven't opened the box yet. The baby is sleeping in my room right now, but when he gets up I'll be ripping into that box! |

This is so weird. Why would Canon do that? Makes no sense.
I've been holding out for a white Selphy, I had no idea the tray and cord were black. Looking online at images they do in fact show black trays with the white Selphy.
Now I don't know what color to get! | |

I guess you have to ask yourself how much do you like white. For me, white has been my favorite color (well, technically, white is not a color since it's the absense of color) since I was maybe 10 (I'm 31), so I HAD to get the white. Also, white doesn't show as much dust |

mine came into the staples store and is waiting for pickup. I am going to be so bummed if it has a black tray.
Does anybody that bought white have a white tray?? that is the $1million dollar question...

Mine is white and has see through grey paper tray ad black cord...honestly it doesn't bother me. My Dad ordered the white before Christmas, and it happened to be a few dollars cheaper at the time.

Ok, I changed the title.
The only reason it bugs me is that I have the black Canon Selphy CP800 and it has white tray and white cord. Why not make them the same color?

Same here. Mine is the black Canon Selphy 900 and it did not come with the dust cover. According to the book, the dust cover is not included in some regions. I guess this is one of them. |

Does that exist. Also, mine did not come with a dust cover. I am in California.

Well crap. I ordered from Amazon.com mine is white with a black tray. Oh well I'll just trade the tray on my 780 to the 900. The black cord doesn't bother me. Thanks for pointing that out. |
