Nope - haven't gotten any either. I don't want repositionable in my scrapbooks.
I've thought about it for a little decorative bit on an envelope flap but unless I get it for like a buck, I probably won't bother. |

Nope. I have something like 125 rolls now. I ordered directly from Freckled Fawn to get that lovely sidewalk chalk tape.
But in my defense, I use it ALL the time! |

I have five rolls and probably will not pick up any more. It's cute and versatile, but I think I will save my money for other products that may not look so trendy in a few years. I really have a hard time just tearing a piece off and using it as is. The torn edges torment me...gotta cut them straight! I do love how everyone uses the product in such cute ways.

Until a few days ago, I had 5 rolls and they were all Queen & Co Disney tapes. I bout them because I make so many Disney pages, I was bored using the same old thing. I have used the heck out of them and the is still a ton left.
Last Friday I was at Ms to get adhesive and I bought two 2 pack rolls that were on clearance. They happen to perfectly match the MME Miss Caroline that I was using!
If I come across a deal like that again, maybe but I doubt it. Had I not been using the papers I was, I never would have bought the packs, even on clearance. |

I resisted for a while because it seemed like the sort of thing you'd need a particular colour to match what your doing so one roll would never be enough. I started out buying packs of mixed colours in generic prints off ebay for about $2 (australian) which I was very happy about.
Alot of the ones that match collections are $5 or $6 a roll which is too much and I deffinatley won't be buying them.
I do love what I have though and will buy it on sale for sure. I use it quite a bit, it suits my style of scrapping |

I was. . . well, maybe not resisting but just not interested. Then I decided to get a roll to try and now I really like it. It's repositionable, but it doesn't seem like it is any more likely to fall out of place in my books than self-adhesive chipboard letters (I just glued a whole bunch of those back in place on a 4 year old page).
I currently have seven rolls. I have my eye on two more that should hit the store soon. I don't want to end up with much more than that, but I really think I'll make a good size dent in the ones I have.
They seem like a pretty good deal to me - between $3 and $5 for a roll I can potentially use on a few dozen LOs or other projects. I can't say that for very many other embellishments on the market. At this point I have 4 rolls in what I consider neutral colors, and 3 that I bought to match specific collections but will probably use for other lines too.

For the longest time the only washi tape I had came from a few SC kits, but I did finally break down and get a couple of the new Glitz ones when they hit the store. Now I just need to actually use it and make a dent in my small collection. |

Bought one "smash" roll of black with white polka dots ('cause I polka dots)
Then got some Tim Holtz washi tape @ 50% off....
And then some Christmas washi @ 50% off...
And then I stopped.

I only bought some because it was on Christmas clearance at Micheal's. They had some generic patters paired with Christmas patterns. I knew I would not use the Christmas ones so I gave them to the kids. The love it because it is so easy for them to use and it is forgiving when they want to move it.
I bought 1 roll at the Scrapbook Expo because it was pink and I only had blues and greens.

I started with a 3 pack. I didn't use it for the longest time...there is something about the ripped ends that don't fit my style. The first time I used it like ribbon, neat and tidy all across my page. It looked fine but then I started watching glitter girl and I got a little hooked on it. I have upped my stash to 9 rolls and just added 2 more that we're on sale. Scrapping this week I decided I need some yellow in my stash so I guess I'll be getting at least I more! I like the way Shimelle adds a little color to her embellishment clusters with it! |

My first package is sitting upstairs on the floor of my craft room. It came in a kit that I bought off scrapbook steals.
I am a little doubtful about it, but I will say that since I have been taking the Clean and Simple 2 class, I must have seen at least three videos where Jen M uses it as repositionble tape in her process, and every time she does it, she remarks that this is the only way she has ever used it, never for its intended purpose. So I guess if I don't use it decoratively, it will get used somehow...
In its defense, it is really cute, but out of the three pack, two of them have very a specific look.

I resisted it completely until I found a pack of three that were more versatile (black and white) and only paid about 86 cents for the three since the pack was on clearance.
I figured at that price, I could try it and see if I liked it, but I wasn't about to spend $5 on one or two rolls at Michaels, although it would be less with a coupon. Still pricey for something I wasn't sure if I would use a lot.
If it weren't for Glitter Girl, I would probably not even have considered trying it, even for less than a dollar, |

as someone up-thread said already, resistance is futile, lol!!
I only have about 20 rolls so far, I think, but there's more I'd like to get-- I mostly have the Recollections brand stuff from M's, but have a couple 'real' Japanese ones, too (they're a bit thicker). Most of mine are polka dot patterns, but I 'need' some woodgrain, and I 'need' some chevron, and there's probably tons more out there that I'd like, if I look, lol!!
Deco tape does seem like one of the scrappy supplies that's a really good value for the money, when you think about it in a price-per-inch sense. I only like the papery ones, not the shiny ones- the shiny plastic-y ones look cheap to me. I personally like the translucence, and I love that it's repositionable, especially since I have a problem with wanting to move ANY sticker immediately after I stick it down (even if it's only moving it a fraction of an inch, lol!).
I do like ribbon, but it seems to have a more 'formal' vibe to it, if that makes any sense, plus there's the whole 'how do I adhere without the glue showing through' issue with some ribbon. Deco tape is a bit more casual / informal which suits my everyday scrapping style, and it's already sticky, so there's no issues with adhering it, and it's easier / quicker to use.
I started buying it to use primarily on my art journaling pages, but have finally started using it on my SB pages- and I will definitely do it more often!
