I have a huge order that I want to get printed before my 4 day crop in March. I've used persnickety prints before but after their customer service issues and their nightmare uploading and ordering, I'm not willing to put up with them any longer. I need somewhere new!!
TIA! |

I'm sticking with Shutterfly. I've been using them for several years and was planning to switch to Persnickety Prints (because I'd heard their prints were amazing) but like you after that thread I'm not going to.
Shutterfly has been doing a great job for me for a long time now.

I love costco, the lady knows my name and their prints are wonderful. And at .13 cents a piece the price isn't bad. I also love the fact there are ready in one hour, and the colors great.

I've gone back to my old standby, York.
I did try the 4x6 express prints from Mpix (the 19 cent prints) and I didn't find them to be any better than York, so I have been uploading my next batch at York again.
I have never had a reason to contact York about anything, so I have no personal experience with their customer service, but my mother orders photos from York in batches of a couple hundred at a time, and she has no qualms with contacting them for any little thing she doesn't like, and they are always super helpful and respectful to her when she has a reason to contact them, so that is something I like knowing just in case I should ever have any sort of issue.

I haven't printed in almost a year, since scrapbookpictures.com went out of business. Just uploaded 1,000+ photos to Shutterfly and so far I'm impressed with their Express Upload system. |

Snapfish just cause I'm a sucker for a deal and they send me so many great offers!!! But I did pin something on Pinterest about a wonderful, not very well known place that I'm going to try next week. If I can find the pin - I'll link it up here.

Costco. It's not much $ (since the price is so reasonable), but it does count towards my 1% cash-back with my membership!

I've been using Mpix. I think the quality is great, easy to upload and order, and they have a variety of sizes. I've also been printing a ton at home, since I bought the Canon Selphy. I also was using Persnickety, but was totally put off by that thread. I had used Mpix before, and went back to them after that thread.

My main printer is Sam's Club. I love that I can upload late at night (my usual pattern) and they're ready by 11am the next day, for me to pick up on my lunch hour.
I also use Shutterfly, but waiting for prints makes me impatient! |

First name basis with my Costco photo center! I think if you order over 100 pictures at one time the price automatically goes down to 9 cents for 4x6s.

Has anyone heard of Picabo Prints? What's your experience?
My local website has a deal for them where you pay $14 for $40, which they say they start at .15 for a 4x6, which is what I print most of the time. That's 266 photos for $14 or a nickle each.
I've got my finger on the buy button but thought I'd come over here and get some feedback first. And what's the first thread I see? This one!
It was meant to be ...

Costco. Always Costco. They are great quality, inexpensive and done in usually less than an hour.
And they do 8x8 and 12x12 and 8.5x12 |

Ever since SBpics closed I think I have tried every local and online printer out there! For large orders, I use Costco. Their quality is as good as any I've found online and I like that I can get it fast. Our Walgreens in town is just horrible - not just the picture quality, but they refuse to change the blade on their machine so one edge of the picture looks like it's been chewed up.

I use my local Walmart; I upload them and verify that all the true prints are cropped and are not missing the tops if people heads( it's easy to do with their uploading program). If I know my crop is a few weeks out; I have them shipped to the house ( it's cheaper), if not I just do the one hour and send them to the store. I'm had really good luck with them and their prices are comparable to all the other places. |

Any experience with Mpix customer service?

Oops, never mind. I just checked out the Mpix website and they charge extra if you want glossy prints. I prefer my prints glossy and I also prefer the paper that Shutterfly uses-Fugi Crystal Archive paper.
Guess I'm sticking with Shutterfly!

I use Costco when I need a lot of photos printed, but I think my Epson printer does better. I was working on a layout of my cruise and I thought the pics looked a tad dark, so I reprinted them with my own printer and they came out so much better. I don't think anything can beat my Epson, I just wish the ink wasn't so expensive so even if I have a large batch to print, I could do them all at home.

Well I was going to use Winkflash as they have an offer for 6 cent prints, and some nice offers for albums, but maybe their selections aren't up to pea snuff... it did come highly recommended by a former LSS in Socal...a couple of years ago.

I really like snapfish. I have compared snapfish to costco, mpix and persnickety and I always like snapfish the best though mpix is a close second. I like matte or luster prints and everywhere else but snapfish, they come out darker. For glossy, walgreens has been good for me.
For those who like costco, do you get glossy? The luster ones I get from there are always dark...maybe it just depends on the costco store...
