He has suffered a major head injury. He fell from a 20ft ladder on Wednesday. He is in the trauma unit and has had surgery to remove brain tissue and to alleviate the pressure. I have family and friends praying and am asking for prayers here as well. I know that God can fix him if it is his will. Please pray for Greg.
3-26-2013 I wanted to let you all know that Greg is doing extremely well. He has been released from the hospital into a rehabilitation facility. He's being weaned from the ventilator with the hope of seeing if he can get out of bed and possibly walk. He answers my questions with appropriate head nods. He is coming along so well. I am so happy for him and thank God every.single.day for blessing him with life and recovery. Again, thank you all for your prayers. I pray from him daily claiming a full recovery!
***Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes. I do believe God answers and I claim that he will heal Greg. His condition is the same, but he's holding his own. His neurologist feels that he has a very good chance for recovery. Not sure if I will get him back completely, but I'll take what I can get. I will continue to let you know of his progress, and please keep the prayers coming. God listens.***
4-8-2013 Greg is doing great. God has blessed him! He is talking and slowly being got out of bed to begin walking again. He is his old self, personality wise. I have watched a miracle unfold and can't wait for Greg to tell what God has done for him. I continue to pray and support him as much as I can. Thank you all for your prayers. They were answered and then some!
3-1-2013 Greg had his trach put in on Wednesday evening. I went to see him on Thursday and his eyes are open, he's moving his head and eyes to the sound of my voice and when I asked him to move a finger, he did. I have been thanking God and rejoicing in this breakthrough. I still don't know what the outcome will be, but my daily prayers are that he recovers fully. I know it's going to be a long road and I'm trying not to get too excited, but it's hard. Please continue to pray for Greg's recovery. I believe in miracles and pray that Greg becomes one of God's miracles.
2-26-2013 It's been a very rough time for Greg. At this point all the swelling is down and he looks much better. He is still non-responsive although his eyes are open now and he turned his head to the sound of my voice once. The doctors are not giving him a positive prognosis as far as his recovery. I don't want to go into details because it literally breaks my heart. I have asked his family to consider a second opinion and it's in the works. I continue to pray for him and believe that God will perform a miracle. Please continue to pray for Greg. |
