Going to look at these 2 cars (used) tonight at the car dealership. We've only ever driven Fords. Anyone have any advice good or bad about either of these???

I love my Equinox! It rides very comfortably and handles well in snow (if that is a factor). I wanted a small SUV and it is perfect. The only drawback is that it really only holds 2 adults comfortably in the back seat. 3 kids are fine, too.

I have a GMC Terrain, the sister car to the Equinox... and I love everything about it!!

I have an Equinox - got it last year at Christmas, and after a year I still love it! It's not too big, handles very well, has lots of room in the back seat -- sooo much leg room.

Before then I had a Ford for 12 years, and my hubby has a Ford, was sure I'd stay with Ford. Now I'm good with Chevy

I had an Equinox. Drive a Nissan Rogue and see how you like that in comparison. More bang for your buck in my opinion!

I have a Pontiac Torrent which is basically the same as an Equinox. I've had it for 5 years and still love it.

I have a 2011 Equinox. I love it, but it is a little small. I went from a van and wish I would have purchased a Traverse.

If they still made a Saturn Vue I would have purchased it. We have had two Saturns and they are/were great cars.

I wouldn't buy a Vue. Saturns are no longer being manufactured and the parts costs are skyrocketing. MIL has one and her mechanic recently had to pick through a scrapyard to find a Vue that had the part he needed. No WAY would I sink money into one.

I have the Terrain. I liked it better than the Equinox. It is roomier in my opinion and tougher looking.

I'm glad to see this. I drive a Chev. Blazer, but really wanted a Ford Edge. I had a customer come in and change his insurance after one day of owning an Edge and said he took it back and bought an Equinox. He loves it and said there was more room in it. I love the looks of them and now trying to convince DH of it.

We bought 2013 Equinox in November. We looked at the Ford and Mazda equivelents. The Equinox was just nicer all around especially in the interior. I really like mine a lot.

I have an Equinox and I LOVE it. I find that there is tons of leg room in the back. I went from a Dodge Durango (which I said is the only car I would ever own again) to this. It handles great in the snow and rides way smooth.

I would stay far, far away from Saturns. But then again...we are a Chevrolet family.

I have a 2005 Equinox and I love it! I got it in 2008 with only 32,000 miles on it and it has had no problems or issues at all. I drive to Chicago all the time to pick up family from the airport and it is very comfortable to ride in.

I wouldn't buy a Saturn: parts availability is going to be an issue. I used to own a Saturn and I've never owned another one since. It had a lot of expensive maintenance issues once it hit 60,000 miles.

One of my friends owns a Chevy Equinox. She's had it a few years, gave it to her daughter and bought another Equinox. I think that says something about her good experience with the Equinox. She loves her Chevy and I don't remember ever hearing stories about it being the shop or failing her somehow. Just normal routine maintenance for the Equinox and it's good.

We have a Terrain which I love, but DH doesn't think it has enough pick up. DD has an older Vue and it has a lot of rattles, which according to our mechanic is common. I vote for the Equinox.

Parts availability is a non-issue. GM is still around, and it's a GM car.

My Saturn Aura is an '07 and I love it

my parents liked my saturn so much they ended up with a Vue.

I would buy an Equinox over a Vue, since that brand is no longer made.

And use is fine, but make sure you get the new body style - 2011 or later. Much nicer product!

I have a Honda Odyessey. It had to be in the shop so I rented an Equinox and fell in love with it!!!

I want to buy it but my lease isn't over yet.

I'd go with Equinox!!!

I have a Saturn Vue and I love it--handles really well in the snow. However, as others have stated it is no longer being made and the parts are expensive because of it. We had a repair (our fault) and needed a part that took 2 months to get. Because of this, we are seriously considering trading it in before I get too many miles on it.
