If some guys from my church show up to move the washer and dryer for me, I'll be totally redoing the laundry area (patching, sanding, painting, new shelves, etc).
If they don't I'll be organizing in other parts of the house.
I say "if" because the plans have changed 3 times now and I just don't know if anyone is coming by today or not. |

Probably just organizing all my paperwork that's scattered all over my room! If I can get a ride, I'll be going to look at a car I might buy if it's not in too rough of a shape. Other than that, pretty boring day. |

A good friend of mine moved yesterday, so I spent yesterday and will spend today, covering her cake shop.
Same friend who's website was badly hacked, so I'll be counting everything I can today to finish the inventory. They've had to start from scratch and put items back online one by one! |

Nope,not busy. Dh is cooking shrimp grits for breakfast. I am planning on sewing together 10-12 flannel baby blankets to embroider on our trip to see the Grands. I also need to hem new scrub pants and cut off/ hem some shirts for dh. Also we need to put our spare room back together. Dh found wood borers in a dresser and we had to fumigate.
Also it's supposed to be a freeze warning tonight so need to cover the tomatoes.

Leaving in about an hour to drive the Syracuse, NY. DS has a lacrosse game there tomorrow. Happy about the long weekend, cuz we'll stay until Monday and drive home, rather than night driving after the 4 p.m. game tomorrow.

I'm packing an overnight bag and dh and I are heading off for a night or two away (made reservations for one but decided to pack for two, just in case!). We've yet to have (or even plan) a honeymoon so this will be a mini honeymoon, lol. We're going to hear a country band, see a movie or two (at a "de lux" Showcase theater), shop at some outlets and just enjoy our time together  |

Running around getting stuff ready to take the family to the snow tomorrow. We'll probably just pay for the tubing park since it's been warm here and I'm not sure the snow has held up otherwise.
They do sell out so we need to leave around 7 tomorrow. Ugh!
DS needs boots/gloves and then I want to hit the grocery store for lunch items.

In preparation for the winter storm last night, I vacuumed, did laundry, washed dishes, went to the post office and grocery store, put gas in the car etc. I looked outside this morning and nothing happened. No snow! Yippee! I guess today I'll be blogging and taking a ride to AC Moore to use my gift certificate. |

I went to body pump class this morning, came home had a protein shake, will be heading back to the gym in a bit to take yoga class, then this evening I'm going to a 2 hour zumbathon. Trying to burn 1000 calories today. |

I slept in!! Yippee, that never happens more than 2-3 times in a year!! Pea'ing, grocery shopping & hitting the UPS store, cleaning up a bit, scrapping a little, and helping my DD with some school stuff. Planning our vacation online. Possibly baking some pumpkin muffins. Picking up some takeout tonight! (Hmmm after reading some of the other posts, I need to be adding in some exercise, hopefully that will happen too!) |

Sorry to hear that ... hope she is soon feeling better.
My Saturday is nearer the end than the beginning so I:
Did some laundry
Looked at the muddy floor just before it got more muddied - so I took the dogs for a walk (2 miles), the settled them for a rest while I took the camera for a walk (4 miles).
I have done some creative stuff (interior designs at MyDeco)
Spoke with my Mum on the phone
Just making dinner and then I will ess with my photographs and write my blog
Finally - when dogs are in bed and just before I go to mine I will wash the muddy floor ... it will be so nice to get up to a clean floor tomorrow - even if it only lasts for three minutes!

We've been doing chores, went on a nice walk, now I'm feeding the baby and taking a break while DH and the big kids are plaing tennis. It's a GORGEOUS day, love that we're soaking it up at home
My mom is coming over in a bit to take the big kids for the night (she asked!), DH and I will do more chores, he'll go workout, I'll read. It's a nice, lovely day! | |

This morning we slept in, then I did some laundry and played with the dog while DH studied.
Now we are getting ready to go take a walk and some photos at the harbor, then to Costco.
This afternoon DH will study some more and I will do some work. This evening I'm making grilled lamb for dinner and we might watch a movie, depending on how much studying DH has gotten done.
Tomorrow will be more studying, working and chores. Monday DH is off but will do some conference calls from home and we will get him ready for his business trip this week.
Not a super fun weekend, but hopefully very productive. The rest of this month will be crazy busy for us, so we are heoping to get a bit ahead. | |

I started "working" yesterday.
I have a 4-day weekend & am making the most of it.
Friends who own a flooring company are coming over Monday to measure and help me make some decisions.
Now, having someone over to measure is one thing. Having FRIENDS over to measure is another thing entirely. I needed to clean!!
Well, I also needed to clean/unclutter because we'll need to be moving furniture around for said flooring (stairs & upstairs bedrooms & loft...), so it had to be done.
I would say that I'm about 2/3 done. YAY!!
Looking forward to NBA All-Star action tonight.

It snowed all day here today in NC, but I wasn't going anywhere. Getting over the Norovirus, which, BTW, I wouldn't wish on anyone. I've been firmly planted on the bed watching great old movies and crocheting like a fiend. Trying to finish a Christmas present! (I bit off more than I could chew at Christmas time.) |

I'm plodding my way through 27 decisions. I've done 15 already--the easy ones.
I've been hacking away at my "decision writing shelf" (which is ALMOST empty) these first two months of the year because I was involved in big project from October to November, which set me back a bit for decision writing. I've been bringing work home during the weekends and get a lot done.
After I clear that shelf then I can relax a bit and attack substantive reviews.
ETA: I did something fun first: Went shopping for party favors for my grandmother's birthday (we are making a mini-layout and giving that out) went to lunch at Chili's and then went to Marshall's, Target and Home Depot. | |
