Do you stick down each element as you go or do you wait until you've decided everything and then stick it all together at the end? |

I first get a general feel of where I want the stuff to go and then I start sticking it down. I use the original CM tape runner, which allows me to initially reposition items if I have to.

I usually stick it down at the end. My ATG is unforgiving. |

I stick in stages, background then pictures, then clusters. I have small children I never know when I will have to leave a layout, and when I'll get back to it. So once I make a decision I stick. |

I usually move things around, sticking it down once I've made a decision. Usually at the end. |

I usually stick as I go and have messed up a fair amount paper by repositioning. After watching so many process videos where clusters & layers are assembled before pulling out the adhesive, I am trying to remember to do it that way.

I wait until I've moved things around and figured out how I want it. I usually change my mind quite a bit so I'm afraid to stick it down until the end.

I stick as I go...kind of. Sometimes I'll wait to stick until I have a few layers/clusters arranged, but I definitely don't wait until the very end to stick everything down. It irks me when things move around on the page when I'm working!

I'm sure itwould go quicker for me if I found a great adhesive that would not ruin my paper but since I haven't found 1 I'm stuck to sticking to the very end which takes very very long

I wait until the end to stick everything down. It takes me awhile to decide on the embellies I want to use, which means moving around the pictures... a lot. So it's just easier for me to do everything at the end |

I prefer to adhere as I go, sort of a pick it and stick it so I don't keep second guessing; I think it makes the layout go faster when I stick it as I go. |

I arrange and rearrange, take a picture when I'm finished, and then begin sticking it all down. (I can refer to the photo when things don't look right or I can't remember what went on top of what ) |

Since I have been using the Kiwi Lane Design Templates I find myself setting up the entire page first and then sticking evrything down after it is complete. |

Both...I first decide the main elements (such as the paper layering), and then stick those down. Then decide on the biggest embellies, and then stick those down. And then stick smaller ones on at the end as I go. |

I stick as I go... mostly. I tend to stick down in groupings. I decide on my paper foundation, then stick. I crop and place photos, then stick. I add large pieces, then stick. I add title, then stick. I add small embellishments, then stick. |

I stick down in groupings, too. And I only attach paper & photos in the middle so I can still tuck elements under them later.

I usually stick the main foundation pieces down (photos and any larger sized papers) before moving onto smaller pieces, embellishments, titles, etc.
When layering I don't take it all off the page to stick it down, either. I just lift things here and there to add my tape. I don't like to take it all off to tape it. Bleh. |

Um... ATG here, so both. The major elements, I stick after I decide on all of them. Then the little touches get stuck down as I finish up. Lately I have had a big urge to move things AFTER they are adhered. A very kind pea said to use dental floss to gently "saw" the paper loose from underneath, going side to side. I am hoping it works. |

I lay it out and then go back and stick everything down. Since I tend to eyeball things, there's too much room for error if I glue things down and then add more layers. |

I use to stick as I go but now that I am experimenting with layers I usually layer it all & once I am happy with the final look I start sticking it down. |

I use to wait until the very end, to stick anything down & I took forever to make decisions on placement. I've recently started sticking some things down during the process & making a decision...this has made me a much faster scrapbooker for some reason. |

I used to stick away as I was going along but I found that I tore up a lot of paper, had to reprint a lot of photos and ruined so many embellishments that it's a better approach for me to wait until the end when I'm absolutely sure that I've got everything exactly where I want it before gluing it down for good! I'm looking at my current layout right now that has almost everything in place, just have to get off 2Peas to cut the last few pieces and stick away! And even though I think I'm satisfied with it now, I'll probably still move pieces around before gluing! |

I do both too. I stick the basis of the layout down after I decide what will go where. I also adhere more to the center of the paper so if I want to tuck something underneath at the last minute it will go where I want. Once the basic paper and photo are adhered, then I add embellishment and stick as I go.

i will stick embellishment clusters as i create them 'cos otherwise they are too fiddly with the layers. everything else i only glue down when i have the LO finished.

I lay it all out first and see if I like how it looks. But even then sometimes I change my mind once it is stuck down so that's why I use repositionable Hermafix dotto - "the OCD scrapper's choice."
