Well, why not? I've taught students named, Sky, Star, Rainy, Rain, and Summer. Rainbow fits right in. I like Holly and she's really wanted to be a mom, so good for her. |

That is his last name (the father). I don't mind the baby's name, there are much worse out there. |

I think it's trashy. But, considering who the mother is, it also could've been a lot worse!

Not my cup of tea but there hasn't been many recent celebrity baby names that have excluding the Afflecks (first that comes to mind, not many do).
Lisa Ling just had a girl a day ago and named her Jett.
I can name so many off top of my head with more "unique" names than those that are more traditional - that's harder to do!
Considering the mother, I see it fitting. Heck she'll still be wearing rainbow knee high's when her daughter grows into them.

I had the read the link to find out who Holly Madison is. I wonder if she wore that princess costume to Disney in an official capacity. Doesn't seem like the kind of person they want to represent them (not that I'm a prude, but Disney should be) but if it wasn't official, she should have been removed like Tinkerbell was. |

Disneyland doesn't let adults in in costume unless it's Halloween. 5 months ago would've been Halloween. They're not going to say no on Halloween. Everyone is dressed up.

From reading the comments it seems the photo was taken at a special day around Halloween when such costumes were allowed.
Name doesn't bother me. I can see it and be able to pronounce it correclty... well, except for Aurora but that is simply a combination of letters I have a hard time with. I know what it should sound like anyway. |

Actually Disneyland doesn't allow adults in costume unless you are going to a special Halloween party that you pay extra for, so just in case someone was thinking you can go in costume because it is Halloween, you need another ticket to the party. That being said I agree with many of the comments on the article that Aurora rainbow sounds better, and that I'm mad jealous of her figure when she was 4-4.5 months pregnant...by then People were asking me when I was due |

I like Rainbow Aurora.
I've always said that if I had a girl I would name her Aurora.
I would have skipped Rotella and gone with Madison. Rotella is pretty awful. Makes ms think of Rotel dip.

I love Aurora - Rainbow not so much, although we've all heard a lot worse over recent years. I would have done Aurora as her first name.
But hey - at least they didn't use "creative" spelling, so we should all be thankful for small mercies. |

Aurora is nice. I read an article a while back about names and how they affect kids further on in their lives. People who had "out there" names were less likely to get job interviews than people with normal sounding names.
I know people want their kid to have a unique name, but it can have consequences. |

I think with a last name like Rotella, they should have gone with more subtle and conservative first and middle names. The last name is too flowery, so all those three together are totally over the top. I agree - it has the ring of either a bacteria or a porn star to it. Sigh. |

You would probably call yourself Rainbow. Why would you need to call yourself anything other than your name?
I've taught kids with all kinds of names that would be considered non-traditional. I don't have a real problem with Rainbow. At least everybody will know how to pronounce it. |

I think by the time these kids are in the market for jobs these names will be more normal and mainstream. I doubt it's something to worry about. |
