How in the heck does Richard not know how to sew a French seam or even seemed to know what it is?? I learned that when I took sewing in the 7th grade.

Wow, Layana and Michelle have become even bitchier, if that's possible. I loved the look on Layana's face when Stanley won. And how phony is she the way she acted about and toward Patricia. Also, I wonder if Michelle will be gone. I sort of hope so because she is so nasty but she has made some good looks. They definitely didn't give any clues in the preview, that I could see.

Please tell me Richard was sent home.

I haven't watched it yet mostly because no one else cares for it so I save it for when it's just me. I just want to know that Richard goes home.

I'm not thrilled that they are giving Michelle a second chance. Why did she make a pair of pants and a t shirt when Nina specifically told the designers not to do that. Even I knew that outfit was not appropriate for an editorial shoot. (It's amazing the things you learn watching reality tv ).

Stanley treated his assistant (can't remember his name) terribly. I have no respect for him at all after watching that episode.

Richard went last week; he was back as a helper this week.

I really loved Michelle's look and hated Daniel's, but whatever.

I'm not fond of that actress's role on Dallas (Elena) so I kind of transfered that to her last night about what she would wear and not wear. She sill wear whatever look they choose for her to wear.

I did not think Stanley's look was all that, but Patricia's was a hot mess. Too bad.

In the past, a really good designer's past work history has been used to "save" them, whether it was appropriate or not. So, suddenly they are going to deviate from that tradition and send Michelle home because she flubbed this challenge? I agree that she went againt Nina's explicit instructions, but what she made was beautiful and it was well done. She's definitely full of herself, though.

I thought the leather triangles thing held together with pieces of chain was just... weird looking. I liked the idea of it, but it was SO form fitting that to me it looked odd. The judges raved over the color she chose, but the blue almost made it not look like real leather, to me.

I am not sure why they are keeping Patricia either. I have not liked anything she's made. I get simple, but her dress last night was ridiculous. The "embellishments" looked cheap and homemade, like a craft project. The judges keep saying what an original point of view that she has, and that's great, but if that POV never produces anything aesthetically pleasing, then what good is it?

Oh, and I HATE when there is no actual resolution on the show, as with last night's!!!!

Stanley was an ass last night. When every single designer in the room, including people that can be fairly assy themselves, is looking at you with shock and disgust, you know you've crossed a line. I also don't think the end justified the means. Tu is a good, hard-working person. Stanley could have talked to him about the issues he had in a kind and supportive way and Tu would have worked just as hard, if not more so, to correct them.

But I will say that I loved Stanley's outfit and I think he deserved the win--every bit of it was beautiful.

I also likes Layana's (although she is another person I strongly dislike on this show). I thought it was very cool, but not as good as Stanley's. Michelle's outfit looked great, but as soon as she said what she was making I said "What!?!? Did you not her what Nina just said????" I honestly think they "eliminated" her to teach her a lesson for that. Patricia's outfit was clearly the worst--all of that bedraggled looking Pocahantas fringe on a tent dress. Not good! It was funny how everyone was sort of trying to hide their shock when she came back in.

I wonder if what they will do is send the top four to the different countries, like they talked about. And Michelle will have the disadvantaage of just staying here and not getting the trip and the new inspiration.

Agreed! And to blame every aspect of her failure on Richard?? She (and the judges) keep emphasizing what a wonderful "textile artist" she is. That would be good if this was a textile artist competition! But this is a designer competition! Go home already!

I really hope Michelle will stay but it sure didn't look like it based on the previews. I hated the way Stanley treated Tu as well. I thought Tu was funny and sweet...he didn't deserve that. I liked Layana's sketch but then didn't love her completed look as well.

Also, I cannot believe they have kept Daniel all this time. I thought Michelle had a chance at winning but now I think it will be Stanley.

In the past, there has been pictures of the designers' collections at Fashion Week but I looked and couldn't find them. Does anyone know what blog/website those were on in the past? Thanks.

I hadn't thought of that, but I'll bet you are right. Honestly, though, at this point in the competition, physical fatigue must be a huge factor. It might actually work in her favor to stay home and get some rest. The others might come home inspired, but they'll also have to deal with jet lag.

I agree. I wish we could have seen Tu's reaction when the judges said they loved the jacket and Stanley had to admit Tu made the jacket. Of course it was Stanley's design, but Tu executed it beautifully.

OMG!! I thought for SURE Patricia was going. Though I have liked alot of the stuff she has done. She's done things NO one has done on PR..so I think that is why they keep her. I just didn't get what Michelle was thinking. I think the way she did the top and pants though, was VERY well done, and they are thinking that if it had been done for ANY other comp, she would have won. KWIM? hence the 2nd chance. I think in the previews they did a VERY good job at editiing..so we didn't see if she stayed or not.

Here is the site with the fashion week collections. Scroll down to the last and next-to-last rows on the first page. This year there is no designer name to each collection so it would actually be fun to try to guess.

Who is it that has the jackets that the judges love? Daniel or Stanley? I think #2 belongs to him. #3 looks like Michelle. And #1 would be the other guy or maybe the whining girl. I don't see any Patricia influence in there.

Holy sh-t ----look 8 definitely has Patricia's influence.
You gotta look at the row that is second from the bottom to see looks 4-8. Regardless of the clothing made, I hope the judges ripped her a new one for the HAIR! WTF!
cheers,
Cindy

I was thinking #5 is Michelle's and the I saw the show of the model in the last dress and I'm almost positive that's Michelle's regular model.

I felt so bad for Patricia, got stuck with Richard two weeks in a row. I think she let it get to her too much. She should have just done what others have done, you go sit down and I'll just do my thing. It would have taken her less time then teaching him french seams.
