What do you listen to when you scrap? Let's create a 2Peas NSD 2013 Scrapping playlist!

Right now my favorite song is "Best Day of my Life" by American Authors. If it sounds familiar to you, it was featured in a Lowe's commercial not too long ago. It just makes me happy!

Add your favorite happy-making song!

I am watching 'Lewis' on my laptop. Not sure if it has made it to the USA. It is a detective series, which I have watched enough times that I don't have to 'watch' it.

I usually have baseball or basketball on TV when I scrap. lol.

But when I do, I usually listen to Sirius/XM Channel 2/6002 on Dish. (The Hits 1). I will also listen to the 90's on 9 and The Pulse Channels.

I listen to just about anything.

If this is "our" Inspector Lewis, I agree. Love that cast. Sure do miss Morse.
I like the '80s music. Change channel is country sound comes on.

Usually whatever my dd is listening to on spotify....lately her playlist has consisted of everything from the theme music to Downton and Dr Who to her favorite Disney songs. Sometimes we listen to her Piano Guys playlist.

I love listening to music when I scrap, I'll put my Kindle on shuffle and listen to anything from:

Darius Rucker
Sugarland
Soundtrack from Les Mis
Mackelmore
Flo Rider
Eminem
Goo Goo Dolls
U2

Since the movie came out, my favorite has been the Les Mis soundtrack.

"When everyone else is more comfortable remaining voiceless
Rather than fighting for humans that have had their rights stolen
I may not be the same, but that's not important
No freedom till we're equal, damn right I support it" Same Love by Macklemore

"I am no Saint but I belive in what is right" ~Kid Rock
"Someday I'm gonna find it, wish I knew what I was looking for" ~Lifehouse

I would love to listen to music, but since I scrap in our family room, it's usually the drone of the TV in the background.

When the TV is on I can't help but want to watch what's on the screen even if it's something I've seen dozens of times so that's actually a distraction for me when trying to scrap. Music is fine, but I think talk show podcasts are the way to go for me - maybe it's because it reminds me of how I like be at crops where others are conversing with each other and it's almost like "white noise" to me and I can just be quiet and focus on my project.

I typically end up having the tv or a movie on just for background noise.

Music wise I tend to go for:

The Civil Wars
Gaelic Storm
Twilight movies (all of them) soundtracks (GREAT VARIETY!)
Rogers & Hammerstein's Cinderella (Lesley Ann Warren version)

If I really want to be productive, I don't have anything on. So far I have had nothing on today, but I am also a movie/tv person. I love NCIS and action movies!! Things I know the lines by heart so I don't have to pay much attention but they are on more for company than anything.

I threw in some Lindsey Stirling too - I love the mashup of traditional fiddle with electronica and dubstep!

Someone is always watching TV here so I don't have the music going to often (unless Yo Gabba Gabba and The Wiggles count lol!)

When I do listen to music it's usually 30 Seconds to Mars, Muse, or Soundgarden.

@jmyao I also listen to Wicked The Musical Soundtrack, I love it and can't wait till next year to see it again here.
