Where do you keep the bags? I have been storing complete collections in the 2 gallon bags but now I don't know where/how to store the bags. Anyone?

I Dont use the freezers bags for storage but I do store my 12x12 paper in the plastic file crates you can buy at Walmart or office supply stores. They fit perfectly. I imagine the bags would fit in those.??

I agree with the previous poster, those plastic crates work just fine. And if you're looking for something pretty to go with your decor, Thirty-One has a cube that works great too.

Walmart has some great canvas boxes on their office supply section. I think they r 13x13. For me the plastic crates r a bit tight

I store my kits in the freezer bags hanging from pants hangers in the closet in my Scraproom. I have also heard that people put them in baskets.

Long ago I used a large basket to store my kits, now I have them on my large bookshelf.

I just have a large basket that I stand them all up in. It is what worked best for me. Until it gets full.

I have about a dozen boxes like this from USPS.

I have my kits sorted by color or theme and lined up on a shelf. They're not pretty to look at, but for the price (free) you can't go wrong.

I cut the top off of mine so it would be easier to access the contents.

I used the wire cubes turned shelves that have long been popular. I no longer use the 2 gallon ziplocks but they worked well on the cube-shelves

I lay the ones that have photos enclosed in a clear shallow plastic tub that I have ready to take to crops. The ones that don't have photos chosen for are in my plastic upright scrapbook paper 12x12 holders.

I bought a magazine holder from Michael's. they sell them in 3 sizes in a variety of prints for around $9 with coupon. It sits on the floor next to my desk.

Thanks for all the replies. The skirt/pant hangers is probably my best option. I scrap in the guest room and the closet is full of crafty stuff so it just makes sense to use the hanging rod, too. I don't have enough space left to use baskets or crates, etc., out in the room or in the floor of the closet. Now I have to buy the hangers. It never ends, does it? LOL

I have a pretty canvas storage bin that I got at Target quite a while ago. The sides are angled outward, so I can flip through very easily to see the brand stored in the bag.

I'm pretty sure I got mine at my grocery store.

Mine are in a magazine holder as well.

Now I have to buy the hangers.

Go to the customer service desk of the big box stores. Ask if you can get the ones they are tossing out.

I use the pant hangers I purchased the ones you can hang multiple pairs on and hang by maker. I also hang the bags I am using on the cable thing from Ikea with their clips.

I do the hanger thing, and it works great! I found some cheap pants hangers at WM,and you can hang quite a large number of kits on a rod.

Happy scrapping,
JamieH
