I want a good hairspray that isn't like GLUE that doesn't cost a small fortune. I love Sebastian, but I need to cut my spending. Anyone have a good hairspray they can recommend?

I use Garnier Fructis hairspray. It's in a green canister from CVS/Walgreens. It's under $10 I think. It works for me!

i love the dove flexible hold, it's awesome! doesn't weigh down my fine hair, holds very well, doesn't have a lot of water to make my hair start to curl where i don't want it to.

Made 5000, now what?

I have started using this one and it is really good. I get it at Walgreens and usually pay $4 a can. Sometimes I get lucky and with the rewards card I can get 2 cans for $7. Before that I was using the store brand Beyond The Zone from Sally's. I think it was about $8 a can.

Nexus Comb Thru Finishing Mist. $11.99 at Ulta. I'll go on strike if they ever change the formula.

I use two different ones from Sally's that I really like. One is Beyond the Zone in a purple/silver can. I think it's about $7.99 ($6.49 if you have the member card). I wait until they run the b2g1f sale. Beyond the Zone also has a humidity hold hairspray that I use on really muggy days.

I just started trying their One & Only Argan Oil hair spray. I really like it, but it doesn't hold as well as Beyond the Zone. After I spray it on, it feels like there's nothing there. It's usually $9.49, but now on sale for $7.99. Again, I usually wait for a b2g1f sale.

Both of these are lightweight, but they do a pretty good job of keeping my thin, fly-away hair presentable for the work day.

Before this, I was using Tresemme super hold. I still use it too as I have a couple cans in the linen closet. This is usually my back-up if I run out of the others.

This is the one that I use, too. I'm going to say it's under $5 at WalMart. It is great, great stuff.

Lots of the YouTube beauty girls I watch rave about Tresemme Tres Two. I used it for awhile and really liked it.

Lately I've been using Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine and like it just a little more for my particular hair- it really has a nice, natural hold. Both are great though and just as good, if not better, than the salon brands I've used.

There really is nothing better than LÓreal Elnette. It's the hands-down best, and I've tried sooooo many over the years. It holds, it builds volume, it stays, and yet it's super-fine so it's never stiff or sticky and it brushes out perfectly. Get the unscented though, it smells like old ladies.

I seriously cannot recommend this highly enough! Try a sample bottle and see for yourself.

L'Oreal Elnette is great. Holds my hair all day without a sticky feel or build up. DD also uses this on her hair during horse shows and she sweats under her helmet. It holds her hair in place and afterward she is able to easily brush through.

Another vote for Tresemme #4. My dh always use to buy the $15-$20 hairspray. He says this is so much better.
