I found 2 pieces of fresh produce clothing (top and bottom) for 6 bucks total. I'm going to Charleston in June for a conference, and was very excited to find a tank top I can add a jacket on top of to when going from the heat outside to the air conditioned conference rooms.

I'm on day 4 of weaning myself off of pop so I've been very grouchy. This has definitely helped brighten my day.

What have you all found?

I'm glad you found some great buys!

I didn't go to any garage sales (no money)but I seriously need to have one! I have a lot of clothes and books and will probably sell my dvds.

I got an elliptical machine for $20 (cost to order online would have been $229 without shipping), a brand new cast iron porcelain lined dutch over for $4 (cost online $99), a brand new cusinart porcelain lined stoneware baker for $4, a new pampered chef manual food processor $2 ($49.50 from Pampered chef), new Pampered chef ladle $0.25 ($12.50 from Pampered chef) and two used Pampered chef microwave cookers- they look new but because they were used she sold them for $0.25 each)

so I spent $30.75 for everything!

Bethany, I had not heard of that clothing line. I wonder if maybe we don't have it here in Canada. I looked it up and they have some cute stuff. And after seeing the prices on line, it's obvious you got a great deal. Way to go! And how lucky that it is something that works for you for next month.

Stampsace, you got some wonderful deals. Exercise equipment is always such a bargain at yard sales. And it's one of those things that keeps its value if you ever want to resell it. Did you get all of those things from the same sale, or was it from different sales?

Amy, it's good that you cleared out some things and made a bit of money. I have read on here of Peas making hundreds of dollars at their sales, but I never made much more than $100 at any of mine.

I was lucky again today and got quite a few things. One thing I was really happy with was a black rotary dial phone. I had been wanting one, but I guess they are becoming collectible now and people have been pricing them high, I always think. I found one today for $3. I plan to use it as a prop for photos.

I will update with some photos of other items once I get them uploaded.

It was nice to pop on and see this thread!

nothing exciting - but I did find the genuine Honda trunk liner for my Odyssey for $5. That to me is a super deal especially since it is time to bring home flowers for planting and it means cleaning the van will be a breeze.

As the line is very beachy and intended for warm climates, I can see why it wouldn't be seen very much in Canada. Your phone sounds cool and I am jealous of the pampered chef finds. Love PC.

I didn't go out to any sales today, but I did get a very nice antique oak bed frame (headboard, footboard, and sideboards) for my mom's bedroom. I got this from Craigslist again, and it was only $75. I though that was a very good price. The man charged me $25 bucks to bring it over though. That was an overcharge because he wasn't very far from me, but I was not able to get it here in my vehicle, so I had to pay it. Mom is back home with me again and she loved it.

The baker and the Dutch oven were from the same sale otherwise everything else was at individual sales.

I found a bunch of plastic canvas kits for $1 each. I saw them at a sale last week and only bought a couple and was kicking myself afterwards because I realized after that I should have gotten kits to make for people for Christmas. So I stalked craigslist and saw an ad for a sale with kits, and it was the same person!, she had been set up at her sister the weekend before because they had a street sale.

After I bought what I wanted and got in the car to leave she asked me if I wanted the canvas sheets she had because she would never use them (she was asking 25 cents each and I can usually find them cheaper so I didn't buy) she gave me tons!

Not at a garage sale, but at a thrift store, my dd and I found a china service for 12 from Disney for less than $1/dinner plate. This dd is a huge Disney freak and we were scouting for her first apartment, looking for a coffee table, when I looked over and saw the china. She is so thrilled.

Mallie, do you have a picture of the china? I'd love to see it.

Those Disney plates are neat and what a great price..

I actually did pretty good although I didn't get to go out long..

I also got a Pampered Chef brand new in the box tea pitcher.. $3

And a tall cart for the garage, heavy duty plastic, three shelves, on wheels, perfect for garage stuff and pretty clean for $10.

Some books for my daughter's high school. They just sent out an email requesting books that are read every year.. found a bunch of them for .25 each.

And from the thrift store this week, 2 Hawaiian little plates (for dd 6th birthday next weekend) and one fish shaped plate (will use those for snacks or something)..each .50 cents each and a cute 'dress up dress' for 4.99(kinda loud formal dress... she will love wear on Dancing with the Stars night..lol) and got a senior discount (I am not anywhere near senior discount but I'll take it.. maybe I looked the part?? LOL)

I was most excited for the cart thingy as I usually don't buy stuff for dh (he's picky) but knew this would work (and if not I could use it for something)
