I found a pack of 80 lb. textured cardstock, 100 count (4 of each of the 25 colors) 12 x 12 for 17.99.
Good deal or ripped off?

if the colors are ones youll use, then .18 is a darn good price.
is it the textured cardstock? or the old smooth thin stuff |

I'd say you got a deal. That many sheets of Bazzill from my LSS would cost $39. And I know other LSS sell it for closer to .50 cents/sheet and it would cost even more at those places. |

Your lucky to get Bazil for less than 69 cents per sheet usually - so yes it's a good deal - Especially if you actually use it! |

Yea - I would say 18 cents a sheet is pretty good if it's colors you'll use. Now you've got me wanting to go check it out! |

The UPC code is 40861 92574
On the back it says Solid Color Core and it has a list of the textures:
Bling, Washboard, Orange Peel, Grass Cloth, Canvas, Criss Cross and Weave.
I will definitely use these colors and textures!

Pennyscraps,
I found the Bazzill cardstock in the Duncanville (Texas) Costco last week. It was in the aisle with the office supplies, such as legal pads, pens, felt tip pens. I really should have bought several packages of this cardstock. . .

I was wondering also what the colors are. I live 1 mile or so from our costco but I always forget to go look at the office supply section unless I need something specific there. And I am usually in a hurry when I am there. Guess I should slow down and look around a little more. Maybe I will run by there in a little while. Did the paper pack actually read BAZZILL or does it just say textured cardstock?

See now I am wondering....I did look on the office supply aisle and the only thing I saw was up on that higher shelf and the tag said "Construciton Paper" and I didn't reach up and pull it down....
Other that that, no go. I was at the one in Central Plano, TX on Sunday....Maybe it came in and flew out! |

ckettel -- I got it at the one in Bloomingdale.
scrappin3boys -- Yes, it actually has the name Bazzill on it or I wouldn't have picked it up because I was thinking it was a good deal.
It hasn't got a listing of what colors it is because I think they just mix the colors and the textures.
I'll try to take a pic of it tonight when I get home and post it. I haven't opened it yet.

I looked online to see if the Bazzill product was listed, but it did not come up after searching by the SKU or by the product name.
However, I did find that Costco is selling the Karen Foster Countdown/Advent Calendars. They are only $29.99 for 2 (I saw them at A's for $19.99/each so I thought this was a great deal).
Here's the link to those in case anyone's looking to make them for the holidays:

There are a lot of things at Costco that are either on the store or on the website, but not both. They advertise all sorts of Cricut and Sizzix stuff on the website, but the three Costcos near me have never had any in store. Or most of the other stuff in the scrapbook section. They had two Cosmo Cricket albums, one for a boy and one for a girl and they had a Fiskars rotary cutter, but besides the Bazzill paper, that was about it.

I went to the "Kirkland" costco yesterday - home of the original 'Kirkland Brand' and did not see the paper I think it will get to all stores eventually.
You could call your Costco if you have the costco Item number and they can tell you if any stores in your area have it...i don't recall seeing it on this thread. |
