As you may or may not have guessed by now I'm totally addicted to watching youtube scrapbooking videos. So I'm looking for new videos to watch and wanted to know, who are your favorite youtubers? here are my top faves:

arnuglad - she does the best scraplifting I've ever seen and has great hauls
gingercupcakecards - she does great hauls
honeybeemp - she just seems sweet and her laugh makes me laugh lol
ilenetell - she's very talented
kraftinkate -great hauls and some cool layotus
misscrafterella - she is so funny and outgoing and has great hauls
scrappinjen31 - she does layout videos and shows her process and is a cricut scrapper. I love watching people actually make stuff.
shimellelaine - she is AWESOME
starofmay - great card maker
waterfilterlove - again she does videos of her making stuff and she's very talented.

I love yt but I do find that some of the more popular yters do not share the love like less popular yters do. I comment on a lot of peep's vids and they never seem to return the favor yet I know they are subbies. Sometimes when I do a project vid it is like wow no one even notices it but I will watch another vid of something that is um lets say fugly lol and it gets all kinds of omg's and love it and i am like wth lol. BTW I am not the only yter that thinks this I get pm's from lots of other yters some who are very popular who say the same thing. I have over a 1000's subbies but it seems like it is the same 25 loyal peeps that commment on my stuff and I so appreciate them. I also think there are some whose stuff is highly overrated IMHO.

Thanks for sharing

I love vids, but most of the folks I used to follow religiously are no longer posting. Some I love are:

ScrapTime (fun product demos & reviews -- she's on vimeo not YouTube)
Timeforscrappin (I think she's a Pea -- love her minis)
APieceofCraftdotcom (I love Marion and she always inspires me to try new things)
TenSecondStudios (I don't think they are on YouTube, but they are a fantastic mom/daughter duo who are absolutely hilarious and crazy talented -- great metal ideas)
FollowThePaperTrail (great minis -- she has migrated to Ustream so doesn't do as many YouTube videos, but I still love her tutorials)
LiveLoveScrap's Channel (amazing stuff -- I can't believe how prolific she is!!!)
desdichaedo (also a Pea, I think -- love her minis)
kathyorta (also a Pea, I think -- fun stuff)

Bookmarking this thread, for sure... Thanks for starting it (again)

Thanks for sharing! I have new people to check out now! I've never noticed anyone not getting responses to their videos, I'm sorry you have had that happen, I almost always leave a comment when I watch a video unless I'm in a hurry or in the rare case that I don't have anything to say (very rare LOL). I'm off to check out your channels now!

Canadianscrappergirl what is your yt name?

I love yt and have recently found an addiction to making videos. I was so nervous to start and then just took the plunge with my room tour.

I subscribe to a LOT of channels and a lot of times I don't leave comments for some of the more known people because they already get a lot of comments or really, I just plain forget to. When someone subscribes to my channel I always forget to comment on their channel and say thank you. I'm trying to get better at that though. I always subscribe to their channel though.

I like to watch a lot of yters that do a lot of altered items and some of my favorites are:

GoingCriCrAzy
Cynthialoowho (she's very very blingy)
Mybutterflykisses12
evilscrapper
jadedstudios
mystrawberrybus (she's so stinkin' cute)
enchantedscrapper
queenbee063
bonbonscraps
AF0093
TracysTreasures24 - she's a pea and I love her to death
and of course thekatsmeow1969! I love Abby, she needs more appearances!

I love watching our very own Pea: IleneTell

She is my perfect fit. She shows and describes everything but does NOT bore you with over-describing in her videos.

Uggh.... I just want to tell some YT's to SHUT UP!!! When I hear some YT's describe 95% of their haul as bee-ooo-tiful and most of it is clearance junk, I just want to scream!

Ilene is very talented, down-to earth, and I love her mini's!

Oh, this is fabulous; a whole new SLEW of subbies, and more videos than ever to peruse! When I'm watching YT videos, hubby calls it my "scrappy porn," lol!

Canadianscrappergirl: I'm subscribed to you! And to the person below, that is her name on youtube as well. I subscribed to everyone mentioned here that I wasn't already subbed to.

I am zenderlee on youtube. I mostly show my laces that I sell, but I occasionally put up a project. Some of my faves include:

berlykim37
GingerCupcakeCards (I get a kick out of her; I think she's adorable)
ILuvVintageScrap (I met her in person, lovely lady; she does tons of hauls, and lots of altered vintage items; oh, and she has the cutest accent!)
jannaviles
loganscraftymomma
mADDmartha
roxycar11

Does anyone else think that they haven't been getting all the new videos on their subscription feed? I'm only getting 3 days worth, and there are vids from people I'm subbed to that aren't showing up at all. Frustrating!

See you all on YT!

OMGosh, I just got back from vaca and this was the nicest thread to open! Thank you Kat for mentioning me, and thank you FurryPea for what you said!! You totally made my day. And for the record, if I'm ever talking too much, I won't be offended if you tell me to shut up

Kat has awesome videos and the cutest stuff she makes for her etsy shop, and CanadianScrapperGirl, I will have to be sure to comment more often!

I also like Drew (cardofmyeye) and TubeYouMaster1 has the most AMAZING hauls. I'm totally drooling (and slightly jealous) every time! LOL And JadedStudios always gets nice hauls and then these absolutely amazing "gifts" from all her friends...some of them are so huge they take her almost half an hour to open They're super fun to watch though. Um, yeah, I guess I';m into haul videos! LOL

As for posting on videos.
I respond to every comment I get. It may take a day or two but I respond. I also watch one of their videos.
I figure if they took the time to watch one of mine, I like to watch one of theirs (if I haven't seen them all before .
I also respond and send a thank you to everyone who subscribes to me.
But then again I don't get hundreds of comments, so I can do this.

I really love watching the scrap room tours too! Have you ever done a search for that term? so many awesome rooms to see and I love the details of seeing what is stored where and how, etc. I can spend hours looking at those! (Unless it's a shaky video, I hate that because I get "camera" sick lol)

OK, please talk me through this. I so do NOT get watching the scrapbook hauls videos.

We watch people who've ordered stuff on-line get their package then open it when it arrives? Really?

I watched a few different ones and I am just not getting the appeal.

Please direct me accordingly.

I did learn a cool new way to fold an envelope for inclusion in a mini album (followthepapertrail) and that was great.

Watching haul videos is fun for me because it feels kind of like shopping vicariously. Just like watching movies allows us to experience various things and places vicariously. I'm sure it's not for everyone, but for me personally, that's why I like them. It's fun seeing someone open a box and be excited and see what's inside it. Kind of like Christmas morning. And totally free

I don't get the hauls thing either. I watched one for about 15 seconds--that was enough for me.

There are all kinds of shopping hauls--clothes, makeup, shoes... Wonder if men do hauls, too.

I asked my husband because I wondered if it was a girl thing too! He said they just call it something different, but that there are lots of gadget-loving guys who post 'unboxing' videos when they open their new computer, power tools, lawn mower, etc! It is a whole world I never knew existed! Personally I'm amazed at scrappers who have the patience to set up the camera before they open the box. I don't think I could be distracted once the box arrived!

Kat, thank you so much for mentioning my channel - I'm so happy you like the videos!

Off to check out lots of channels mentioned here... I may be some time!

My favorite lately is

ScrappinJen31 She always makes layouts which I prefer seeing over cards. I also love seeing how she incorporates die cuts into them. She just got a Silhouette so I love seeing her projects with it (there aren't enough Silhouette Youtube videos out there).

I have a channel, it's amandainpa. I have done some layout process videos and hauls. I love making videos, it's a lot of fun.

I can't wait to check out the ones that you ladies have mentioned. This is a great thread!

For those of you who don't understand why anyone would watch a haul video, I just wanted to explain why I personally enjoy them.

First of all, I get to see new products I've never seen before. Secondly, I find out about great deals on products that I may want myself. And also, I learn about new places to shop that I perhaps have not heard of before. It's almost the same as watching the What's New and What's hot videos here at TwoPeas, (which if you haven't seen, you should, it's fun).

I can't tell you how any times I've bought something that I saw in a haul video because I find the greatest things that way! And as a deal shopper, I love finding out what others paid for their goodies so I can make sure to get the best deal I can.

I hope that helps

I'm very new to YouTube (just made my first YT of a homemade smashbook that I made for a swap that I was in) and I love watching the videos! I've only started watching the past 6 months or so. My favorite is Elsa at justafewdesigns.blogspot.com. I've watched others, too, but haven't subscribed to anyone else. In fact, I'm not sure I subscribed to Elsa's because I hadn't realized you could do that.

And also, I learn about new places to shop that I perhaps have not heard of before....I can't tell you how any times I've bought something that I saw in a haul video because I find the greatest things that way! And as a deal shopper, I love finding out what others paid for their goodies so I can make sure to get the best deal I can.
I love to see the Tuesday Morning hauls. I've found some great buys at Tuesday Mornings...and found out about some of them through YT.

Long live YouTube!

I have a YouTube channel and it is my goal to start posting more videos. I have done a couple lately after a LONG break and am ready to get to video-ing again!

My username on YouTube is LiveTeachCreate.

Thank you ladies so much for all of the super recommendations!

--And I'd just like to add one more reason that haul videos can be enjoyable/beneficial:

There are lots of items that either don't have detailed sizing listed (a pet peeve of mine) on most online stores or will have a different sheen/texture than one can gather from the stock photo used by retailers. Haul videos have helped me many, many times determine whether a stamp (or stamp set) is large/small enough for my particular project ideas, or if an item is really as glittery, textured, etc. as it initially appeared to be. I find that it's nice to see new goodies being handled and closely filmed when you can't see them in a local shop.

I like starofmay and Shimelle the best. Shimelle's pages are the coolest.
