My husband bought me the Cameo for my birthday, and while the threads have been helpful, I keep loosing track of them in the forum. This will help me learn to use this awesome machine so much easier.

This is awesome Nichole! I'm going to bookmark this.
I wonder if you can add a few links for those considering purchasing a Cameo and wanting more general information? Also for example some pros and cons threads. |

Thank you so very much Nicole for doing this-you are amazing!
I got the Cameo for Christmas (arrived a few days ago) but still haven't plugged it in yet. It's my first die cutter and I'm super nervous since I'm a bit computer challenged. DH was sick last weekend, but I think with all of this help I'm going to go ahead and try it on my own.
I've been book marking the threads, but I've missed quite a few. You have helped me so much with what you have done. Thanks again.

Thank you! I suggested this on someones' thread about a problem yesterday. I had a problem and it took so long to go through threads to find help.
I would have no idea how to gather all these threads and link them so I am grateful for your expertise. Pretty sure I will find them all useful.

Quick question. Is there a cheat sheet as to what blade for what paper, and for the settings in the control panel, speed etc.
Thanks! |

I'm using this thread every time I come up with a new question! Thanks again for gathering all of them together, Nicole.
Here's a question I didn't find an answer for: in January, Silhouette had me download a new version of the software. Doing that created a new Silhouette icon on my desktop but the old one is still there. Can I delete the old one? Not the Studio icon that gets me into the program itself but the one that installed it. I have two of them now but I'm afraid to delete the old one (the December one) unless somebody tells me it's ok to do that! |

Thanks, Martha! I just signed up and added the linnk.
Elena, I know deleting the icon doesn't remove the program so you should be OK. |

Was wondering if anyone could answer this? I've been reading posts for several days and even researched other places and can't find an answer.
So I just got a new computer and I'm in the process of setting it up. I downloaded Silhouette Studio on the new computer and noticed that the 50 freebies that come with the program now are different from the 50 freebies that came with the program on the old computer. Anyone know how can I transfer the old images to the new computer?
