ETA: It was a mistake and Michelle at Scrapbooks Etc has cleared it up for us. It's still being published, just no longer available on DiscountMags.com. Sorry for scaring everyone!

Is this old news or am I just out of the loop?
I placed an order at a discount magazine place a couple of weeks ago. I just got an email from them stating they are refunding my money because this magazine will no longer be published.  |

Hunh. I wouldn't be surprised, but I do have a subscription and received my most current issue a few weeks ago and saw it on the newstand at B&N last week, I think.
Perhaps they are winding down, not accepting new subs? I have not received any notice from them.... |

I got the same e-mail from Discount Mags and came straight to 2Peas to search to see if anyone else had the scoop on the fact that the the magazine has ceased publication.
I can find nothing on their website. They are accepting subscriptions on their own site. |

I too received the same email! See below. I certainly hope it's just that Scrapbooks etc. retracted their offer via discountmags.com!

I just received a follow up email with an apology for saying that Scrapbooks, Etc. was ceasing publication. It just said that they were not offering the publication through their service.
I wonder if Michelle or someone from the magazine contacted them.
Anyway, just glad we'll still be able to get the magazine!

I just got the apology e-mail too. I am so glad someone from Scrapbooks Etc. has cleared this up on 2Peas too.

Wow,two good things -- still going to get my Scrapbooks Etc mag and got a $5 credit! Here's the email I received from discountmags.com (see below). I applaud their prompt response and attention to customer service. I have never been disappointed with discountmags.com and will continue to order through them especially after how they handled their mistake today!

So glad to read that the wording of the email was incorrect and that the discount magazine people apologized. I would hate to lose this magazine, especially given the fact that my subscription still has more than a year on it! Yay! |
