I've had my Cameo since early December and keep turning to my Cricut with MTC out of frustration. Many times, my blade does not cut through my cardstock when using my Cameo. I read somewhere that some people are using the double cut feature, but it seems like so much wear on the blade for card stock that so many people use. So, I was just wondering how many people are having to double cut with their Cameo?

I always double cut Bazzill on a setting of 3. It is thick and fibrous.

I usually use the double cut feature when cutting cardstock just to make sure I get through all the little nooks and crannies. I've been doing that since I bought my Silhouette and have yet needed to replace the blade.

Depending on the shape, I've found that using a setting of 4 doesn't require a double cut.
If its really intricate, a double cut will sometimes start to cut too much and it messes up the detail.
