Hi Peas! I know this question has been asked before, but I'm curious what you all like to see in a class. Do you like step by step instructions, tips & tricks, lots of samples, etc.
Thanks for your input!

One of the things I like to see is a complete supply list. To me there is nothing more irritating than being about half way done with something and hearing "By the way I forgot to say but you will also need XYZ (always something I don't have) "

I also like it when I teacher is very clear about the skill level needed for a class, how long the project will take and if you will be finishing some project or if it simply a skills class.

I am a HUGE fan of tips and tricks. In fact an entire class or seven of them would be great. I prefer step-by-step for projects that are not basic but I don't like the steps to make it feel like you are learning in slow motion.

The times when I like to see lots of samples is when a new product is being shown. I love to see a bunch of ways to use and unusual paper line too.

One thing Jennifer M did that I loved was to put all the class notes, instructions and images up online in a password protected area to access after the class.

I always enjoy explanations on design choices - ie why I chose this set of supplies for this photo. This is why I put this embellishment here and not there.

I love to see product choices and step by step as long as it's not obvious stuff. New techniques would be awesome and maybe a PDF to have for reference.

I like unique, fun projects that teach cool techniques.

I like step by step instructions with photos or sketches, in case I don't finish during class time and need to complete it at home.

Design tips
Technique
completed project in time alloted
Hearing why the teacher likes certain products
"another way to do this"...
"wouldn't it be cute to also" alternatives

I like it when a teacher points out how others are making the project their own also.
