Well, just as my work projects slowed down a bit, I was asked to take over the wedding of my step-daughter. This happened less than a week ago and the wedding is in 30 days (yes, we are counting days, not months!). The planning started 6+ months ago, but not much had been done.

In the first week, it was discovered that the theme/colors for the wedding were NOT going to work with the venue, so I presented some new ideas and am now running with one of them.

I need to find a stamp with an anchor on it. Nothing cutesy, prefer something classy and/or a bit vintagey.

Does anyone have any suggestions - companies/mfrs. or stamp sets?

I need pix because I need to get one asap so I can use it for some decor items and the favor bags.

Thanks ladies, I know you won;t let me down.

This style is perfect, but it needs to be larger:

There's one in the Pink Paislee Nantucket set, and there's a tiny one in a Prima set. It has a ship in it, but I dunno what line the Prima one is from, sorry. HTH

Found both sets, but the PP one was sold out.

I am posting on the FSOT board to see if someone has one they want to part with. If not. I'll spring for the whole Prima set (cost of the set isn't bad, but with shipping for one item it's a bit high).

Thanks again for your help.

SU has a elegant one in a set called Open Sea. If you need it in a hurry and don't need the entire set, I would be willing to loan you the anchor. You can also purchase the set as a download.

FYI- not a demo, just own the set and really like it.

Have you done a google search? I found several offered in various Etsy shops.

Check out paper source online. I got a catalog last month with all nautical ideas and they had stamps.

Stephanie, I *thought* I saw one last week at Mike's, in the
$1.50 bin. HTH.

I saw one in the dollar bins at M's. Worth a trip there.

Don't know if you wanted something more then just an anchor or not, but I love Bombshell Stamps. They have lots of cute vintage/pin up stamps. Including a fun nautical section.

My favorite anchor and set is this one:

Anchor

It is cling-mount rubber.

You gals are amazing - I just knew you wouldn't let me down!

I may be ordering a couple sets just for myself down the road, but since one's been offered as a "loaner," I would love to borrow the anchor from basketdiva.

Basketdiva, if you would be willing to loan me the anchor, I would gladly cover the shipping cost both ways and to send you something as a thank you.

Please send me an email to shackney (at) creatingforcauses (dot) org and we can make the arrangements. Thanks soooo much for the generous offer!

BTW, the stamps that identicaltriplets and ohsnaplizzie linked me to are awesome! Not quite what I had in mind for this project, but something I like and would use myself. Thanks!

Yes, I did see that one in the dollar bin at Michael's, but I need something more substantial. Thanks!

KVRLVN, Yes I did see some online, but not with any vendors I know well and I need to know it will arrive asap as my deadline is soon! Thanks!

Love you ladies!

I just wanted to thank basketdiva for lending me her anchor stamp. I'm using it for the wedding favors and some cloth and it's perfect! Thanks for the generosity - I promise to send you some goodies as a thank you!

The anchor stamp worked perfectly.

I used it on the tags for the favors and the bride and groom loved them.

I'll post the items I made (centerpieces, favors & tags, programs, tissue wraps, arch flower arrangements, etc.) when we get back in the country in mid November.
