More and more I find myself saving not only the pattern paper swatch on the bottom of the paper but also the paper names.
Cut out they make cute word strips.

I use those strips all the time. I've been using just the paper sample part of it - I never thought to use the wording! Great idea!

I love that more and more companies are having a different patterned paper all along the tear off strips. I use mine as a border at the top or bottom or my layouts. When there is only a partial piece of tear of pattern paper, I use it for trim along my Project Life journal cards.

I love tear-off strips. I think Dear Lizzy Neapolitan ones are the best!

If I don't use it as a full piece, I punch confetti or small shapes from the patterned parts.

I do and I used the Life Is Good for a tag. It is like an added bonus embellishment.

Love the tear off strips. I used the Crate Paper Peppermint ones all over my DD album last year. Use them as borders all the time. Never thought about using the piece with the collection name. What a great idea.

Yup, just used the tear off strip from a Webster's Pages paper on my last layout. I've never thought of using the words, though. That is a good idea!

@OP you are so clever, I would never have thought to use the names in a million years. I do use the pp on the strips however, TFS.

Yep! I've used the little patterned strips as well as the words. Simple Stories' 'Documented' line is a personal favourite for the words.

Oh yes, I just figured that out in the past yr or so!

Once in a while I end up using a word on there, but the best part for me are those companies that put a stripe of the "b" side pattern on th strip - it's nearly always the perfect width to use somewhere on the layout or a card!

So many uses for them!

All the time. One PP was from a Christmas collection. The strip had a super cute "Merry Christmas" written in brown with a cream background & a holly sprig with it all outlined in a red scalloped border ~ I cut it out used it as sentiment on a Christmas card. Yeah, when paper is so expensive I put the scrap in scrapbook. HaHa!

I LOVE to talk about scrapbooking!!

I've used some. Basic grey had a paper with my daughters name. Her name is not all that common so it was neat to find that. Since then I always check to see if I'll need them in a future project

This is one of the things I like about the better quality paper lines. The small details give you a lot of bang for your buck. I use the strips all the time for punching and borders.

Cut out they make cute word strips.
