So this afternoon, I am planning to spend a little time scrapping, but I'm not sure that I have the inspiration. I'll pull out my trusty magazines and notebooks that I've sketched in and that usually does the trick. Window shopping is a good trick for finding inspiration for me too. What do you do to find inspiration? |

I usually look in the gallery here or some of my magazines. Sometimes I will check out youtube.

What do you do to find inspiration?
I start with a sketch. I have a list of what SB supplies I own and I choose just 1 thing to use. It gets me started and I end up using more than one product. The last two pages I made, I used sizzlit and sizzix alphas! It reminds me to use the old stuff.
I also have a list of techniques to try I'll sometimes pick from. | |

I look on my Pinterest boards, especially "art and collage", "scrapbooking" and "inspiration". Usually after a few minutes of browsing I can find a bit of inspiration! Some coffee and maybe good music help, too.

I blog hop a lot lately. I got the rss feed app and loaded only scrapbook websites. From Shimmelle to Ella publishings blog I hop. When I see something I love. I do a print screen an load it in Evernote with my writings of what I want to do. That is getting me going big time!!! (And I don't mean the bathroom )

I usually my bookmarked layouts both here and at studio calico, my scrapbooking pin board and a whole bunch of instagram photos I've saved to my phone of scrappy things I've seen and liked. | |

I turn on a Glitter Girl video, or other video, or podcast (like Paperclipping roundtable). Usually the videos inspire me to try something, or I'll glance through photos listening to a podcast.

I usually have an unfinished project sitting around...and getting back to that, to add one or two "finishing touches" is usually enough to jump start my mojo.
I also use scraplifting, starting from a sketch, or picking a product and then challenging myself to use it as creativity prompts.

I get out the photos I want to scrap and look at sketches based on the number of photos I have for the layout.
I never scrap a single photo though. That would be very hard for me.
