I am 14 year survivor with a cousin that is the middle of treatment for stage IV breast cancer. I saw her today and she seems defeated, for lack of a better word...
I remember when I was going through breast cancer one of the most memorable touching things that happened during that time period were the cards I received from all over wishing me good health or saying they were praying for me or just words of encouragement. It was so powerful.
So I am calling on the power of the peas to help me do the same for my cousin. Her name is Nora Jones. If you are interested in sending a card, let me know and I can give you the address of where to send the card.

Thank you so much to all those that have replied. I took her to the Susan G Komen 5k in Houston today. We didn't run. She is still doing treatments. But I wanted her to see other survivors. Here is a picture of us:
