The scrapbook store there carries older stuff. It wasn't worth the time.  |

There is a place called Scrapbook Clearance (I think that is the right name) and everything they have in the store is always 50% off. It doesn't have "new" stuff since it is only a clearance store but I enjoy going since its the closest LSS to me and it has different stuff than M's or HL. But don't expect brand new things there. I have also heard there is a store in Cresyview,FL which is kinda close to Destin but I have never been to that one. Oh and the one in Destin isn't open on Sundays or holidays. Hope that helps and enjoy the pretty beaches! | |

Hey numberfool,
The clearance store in Destin isn't great at all. If you're willing to make the trip to Crestview--just shy of an hour--it will definately be worth your while.
The owner Lisa and her staff are amazingly friendly and they have the newest stuff! If you go, find out what classes they've got going on. One of my girlfriends is putting together an art journal class, and the Christmas/Fall projects Rhonda, Di, and Laura come up with are spectacular.
Let me know how it goes, and please tell the girls that April says hello!

Might have to drive to Crestview! Just looking forward to a week in Destin and a week away from work!

Yes -it was pretty neat! Lots of older items and cheap prices. I didn't buy very much - but did get some die cut page frames that said Destin and Florida. I googled it to find the location - it's in a strip mall. Not hard to find! | |
