I am pretty new to cricuts, having just bought the expression last winter for $149. I just started to really getting back into scrapping and want to purchase a few more cartridges. I have the two that came with it, as well as Jasmine, Locker Talk, and Designer's Calander. I like fonts, and want to get Varsity...
Any other recommendations? What are your favorites or go to carts?

My new favorite is Create A Critter 2 - great for my kid pages and I like that it has almost every occasion on it. But if you are not into cutesy it may not be your style.

I adore Create a Critter, Create a Critter 2, both Paper Dolls cartridges, and Simply Charmed for the vast array of images that cover nearly all occasions. For fonts, I gravitate towards Lyrical Letters, Alphalicious, and Robotz.

I love CTMH Art Philosophy. I also like Life's A Party, Plantin Schoolbook, 3 Birds on Parade (lots of great titles and phrases) and Doodlecharms.

|Posted: 11/5/2012 7:51:43 PM|My hands down favorites are the two CTMH ones Art Philosophy and Artiste I use those on most of my layouts lately as there are so many shapes to choose from. I don't do the cutsie cuts so these are perfect they have a ton of standard shapes that work for just about anything. I also love a Child's Year - I don't use the kids shapes but I love this font. I also have the elegant edge carts that I had to have and really haven't used them but I know I will at some point I need to start using my other cartridges more I just have found that the two seem to work for most of my pages lately.

Another vote for A Child's Year for it's font here. Plus, it has something to cover every season and holiday, cards and tags. I really like the font on Winter Woodland, too.

My all-around favorites are the two CTMH cartridges, but a good font one I don't see mentioned - and that you can often get in the $15-$20 range - is Hannah Montana. I don't have any use for the "rocker" stuff on it, but I find I use the font quite a bit.
