Welcome to week 8--How is everyone doing? Is it coming together or ready to pull your hair out? For me, I was ready to pull my hair out this past week but realize I don't have to get it all done in one day or even one week. It is an ongoing process! Remember if you feeling really overwhelm, take a break from it then go back to it when you are ready to tackle it.

This week we are focusing on projects, unfinished pages, and kits. You know we all have them pile up somewhere, or hiding. This time, no more denial, get them out and finish them up this week. Projects could any ongoing projects that may have all supplies but haven't start it yet or not sure how to started. or those unfinished pages that need something but not sure what it need yet. Some of you may or may not scribe to Monthly kits that come in mail or you create your own kits that just sitting there getting lost under the piles.
What to do with those things? First head on over to original Wookiemouse'spost

QOTW #1 : To keep Amanda's Creative Me Happy--Did you create anything last week?

QOTW#2 : Is those projects all over the place that half time you don't know what you have or do you have a specific place for them?

QOTW#3: List your three projects you are going to complete this week?
Please post a picture of those three project, pages, or kits then on sunday post the finished projects. there will be a small rak--10 dollar gift certificate to two peas, scrapbook generation or online store of your choice.

I'll be back tomorrow with my blog post on this as well as pictures of my project this week to complete. this will end on 11/18/12

OMG, I just saw Weeks 6 and 7 yesterday. I'm going through DH's old photos, and he's very happy about that. After I figure them out, I will need to talk myself into tossing a bunch of magazines and possibly better organizing the photos on my computer.

I tossed a few magazines from 2008 yesterday, but that just means there's more room to put I don't know what in the crate they were in. I certainly am buying fewer scrapbook magazines than I did in 2008. There certainly are fewer now than there were then. I don't know why I want those magazines from 2009 and later, but you never know when one might come in handy.

Q. 1. I answered yes to both questions yesterday, but since then I have only created one AJ page - no scrapbook pages.

Q. 2. I generally put my unfinished projects on my scrap desk, and my finished ones in their books. But, I am bad about leaving containers of embellishments in the wrong place, and/or carrying all things, including embellishments, tools, scraps and albums into the scraproom but not putting them completely away. The reason I will move the unfinished projects to the scraproom desk is because I am trying to keep them away from two cats.

Q. 3. Unless the organizing of DH's photos inspires a layout, I will only be doing AJ's and/or organizing things. Those printed photos, and maybe the computer ones.

Except that I will have to see what Wookiemouse recommends for the kits. I have a lot of premade ones that I have opened and store in a specific place, and I am not sure that's the best way to do it.

EllenPea--no hurry --lol I was just updated on progress and want to see how everyone is doing.. It has been really quiet here.

I want to post an update on this-I did a blog post about it-- rganize-your-stuff-round.html'>my projects, unfinished pages, and kits

QOTW #1 : To keep Amanda's Creative Me Happy--Did you create anything last week? l
yes-- I have created about 5 layouts--just need to add my date and journals.

QOTW#2 : Is those projects all over the place that half time you don't know what you have or do you have a specific place for them?

in last round of this challenge, this was so true--I had them all over the place, halftime i didn't know where things were, etc.
when i moved to this house, i had this small bookshelf and some of my small project boxes was store here and I thought this is perfect to store all those pages and projects here on this shelf and to remind me what need to be done and a safe place to store when i need a break from them. I set this up and it works perfectly for me. On each shelf is label of specific project or whom pages they are..

QOTW#3: List your three projects you are going to complete this week?

I'm currently working on pages of my three kids--I was able to get the room last night--finish Caleb's two pages layout that was on my table and went through my daughter's pages and working on finish them. It is progress but my goal is to finish all those pages by Saturday. I also order my pictures for Dec daily 2010 and 2011. I want to work on them next week and finish them up so i can focus on this year Dec daily and not wait on them.

Well, off to do errands and do my to do list today--

Progress update--

I finish the three piles of unfinished pages of my three kiddos. There are two layouts in daughter's spot as that require sewing which is new to me.
I do have four pages that need pictures yet which I have order. I am just waiting for them to come in the mail then it is completed.

this week I'm working on the yearly pages that is in fourth spot on the bookshelf. Right now, i'm debating on couple Christmas pictures if i want to do them in 12 x 12 and put them in my yearly album or put them in 8x8 album as part of Dec daily even thur i didn't start it until 2010 so this would be pre Dec daily --mmm not sure yet.

how is everyone doing?

I keep my unfinished projects in a large basket on the floor by my desk so I have to look at it every day. It's hard to ignore, so if I'm in a scrapping mood but can't decide what to work on there it is

I keep my page kits in a large basket in the tv section of my Expedit. Yes, dh got me the wrong Expedit the first time out, but it is a perfect place for 2 baskets full of page kits

QOTW #1 : Did you create anything last week? YES! I went to a crop not too long ago and got some pages done and lots of them ready to be put together. I also started planning pages for my parents' and inlaws' albums. I gave each side an 8x8 ring album with just a few pages. Then for gift giving occasions I *try* to do a few pages to add to their books. It makes gift giving for them a little easier and they love it. Plus I just created my first glass etching project. My dd's teacher's aid was leaving the school so I etched her last initial on a glass jar filled with homemade chocolate chip scones.

QOTW#2 : Are those projects all over the place that half time you don't know what you have or do you have a specific place for them? They are everywhere! I have a basket for pages that I am currently working on but it's the mini albums that I have problems finishing. The two main ones that I need to get done are my 2 kids' 1st bday albums. Uh, yea they are 3 and 5!

QOTW#3: List your three projects you are going to complete this week? Do I really have to commit? Oooo there's a prize? OK, I'm in!
1. DD's 1st bday mini
2. DS's 1st bday mini
3. Digitally cropping and ordering photos for the GP's albums.

Please post a picture of those three project, pages, or kits then on sunday post the finished projects. there will be a small rak--10 dollar gift certificate to two peas, scrapbook generation or online store of your choice.
Added unifinshed projects to my gallery
