I'm mentally preparing on catching up on this year of Project Life and diving into 2013. I've been cleaning out supplies and reorganizing.
- How many of you are tackling Project Life next year?
- If you've done it before, are you changing anything about how you approach it for the next year? |

I plan on doing this again next year. Currently I've only done thru June. I haven't printed pictures since then. Ahh. Hope to get caught up in the coming weeks.
I love how project life gives me a place for all the little pieces of our everyday life that would normally get lost in the shuffle. So much more personal than pages to me.
This is year two for me. Onto year three in 2013. |

For those of you who want to see how easy it is to use the kit. I posted a 60sec video of my project life album 2011 for the first 6 months. This will give you some ideas of how to embellish simply and the kinds of photos, journaling and cards I used. The following post is that particular album with detail shots.

I'm so glad so many people are considering doing PL. I just love how easy it is. |

I'm back in for '13.
The same - doing my own kit, printing pix at home, keeping it simple.
Different - will have to change sleeve formats. My old '09 Becky Higgins original format is no longer available. Trying to decide if I stay all horizontal or mix in some vertical. Also considering using just a regular WRMK leather album. |

I'm in for 2013. This year was my first trying it out and I love how it came together. I am a bit behind but we're moving and things are a bit hectic right now.
I bought my album for 2013 and I think I'll keep the same format...monthly works well for me. |

I am definitely in again - even though I am hopelessly behind still this year. I've kept a wonderful notebook that helps me play catch up when I get a chance. The Project Life pages have become far and away my favorite pages to go back and look at for tons of reasons. As far as how will I approach it - all digital all the time (big surprise ) |

This will be my first year doing PL. I've asked for a couple albums, page protectors, month dividers, a Core Kit, and some additional PL extras for Christmas. I also have started an organizer for PL where I've put supplies from my stash that I think will work well for this project. I also have a folder designated for PL where I can put notes, mementos, etc for the week so I am all set to scrap it when its over. I intend to keep up best I can with this project so I don't fall behind with it like I have in the past with Project 12. |

2013 will be my first year with Project Life. I've been using Simple Stories to "practice" my PL process and have already decided to use the Becky Higgins page protectors due to the pockets in the SS page protectors not being true to size. Printing my own photos will be key to keeping up with PL (for me). I plan on using a lot of my own stash versus staying strictly with a kit. As for daily/weekly/monthly layouts - I'm just going to go with the flow. |

I'm in! This will be my 3rd year.
2011 I used only the BH stuff-when it all came as 1 kit-binder, protectors and card. Idid a photo a day.
2012-I am using WRMK binder, variety of protectors from BH and WRMK and Simple Stories year.o.graphy paper line. Monthly review
2013-again using WRMK album, variety of protectors and using the Simple Stories Sn@p paper line.
I'd like to have it a little more organized this year. So I may pre-cut some of the double sided paper down to 4x6 and 3x4 cards and put them in the BH organizational tray I bought.

I'm in for 2013. I'm currently a bit behind in 2012 but I know I'll catch up and finish by the end of the year or a week or two after. I am changing my format for 2013. Right now it's very much a picture a day kind of thing and I'm going to make it more a week in review. I love a lot of Cathy Zielske's products on Designer Digitals so I'll be getting lots of those. Using Becky Higgins page protectors, Design A and probably a WRMK album. Looking forward to it. |

I'm in again! My PL year starts in February which is perfect, considering the late availability of the new core kits. Definitely going with Seafoam and my husband just gave me my birthday gift - a subscription to the Citrus Twist PL kit club starting in January
My approach really worked this year (finally!) so I'm not chafing anything. I'll continue to print photos at home, use a weekly format and use Tuesdays as my dedicated day (really 2-3 hours or so) to work on my album. I'm also sticking with the Design A pages, using other designs only for inserts on busy weeks/special events. Keeping the foundation consistent is easier for me. |

I am also really excited about attempting this project this year. I wanted to last year, but it was a hard year with life changes and I ended up hardly scrapbooking at all. I finally decided a few weeks ago that I want to get back into scrapbooking again. I have stocked up on page protectors and WRMK albums but I was thinking about making my own cards instead of purchasing a kit because there wasn't one that I absolutely loved. I am worried that making my own set will make this project more difficult.
For those of you that make your own cards, do you do it all at once or do you do it each week as you go along? Do you use the same paper collection all year long or do you do monthly/weekly themes? |

I am doing it again this year! 3rd year for me. In 2011 I tried to do it monthly and I still have to go back and journal 1/2 of the year (thank goodness for my blog to help me remember). This year I did it weekly and I kept up! It was great and I plan on the same approach. The one thing I need to work on is narrowing down my pictures... I had 5 binders for this year. LOL! |

i started PL this year, at first i did digital PL but then i switched to traditional PL in the middle of the year. i lived in indonesia and there's no shop that sell PL sleeves,so when i finally got one bought it online in Singapore i switched. i did mine by weekly, spend couple hours on the weekend to do it and so far im loving it. I printed my journaling card which i found around the web (freebies) and sometimes when i have the time i make my own using photoshop, i also look for quotes or other cool stuff on pinterest and printed them out.
anyway, i cant wait to start 2013 PL but i still have a month or so to catch up im a bit behind because of the holidays and work..
i may post the link to some PL freebies later on and if u guys need it

I started it last year, and then never finished it. I have everything stuffed in box for it, though, and am hoping to get it done at some point. I am doing it this year, but as a baby album for my son who is due in January. I bought the Baby for Him kit, and think it will be an easy way to document his first year.

This will be my fourth year! My first year was all digital. Years two and three were with the regular kits. This year, I'm going back to digital. I'll be using the Olive and Seafoam digital kits and I have two aqua leather WRMK albums on the way. I'm still completely in love with this project. I've covered the day-to-day of most of my DD's life and all of my DS's life. It's so wonderful to be able to flip back through all those pages. |

I was not planning to do Project Life in 2013. I am finishing up 2012. Just worked on the past three weeks. I stayed current each week until December rolled around, my camera battery died and the holiday festivities began. Looking back at the second of two albums for PL 2012 I have decided to keep it up in the new year! I will be more bold with supplies and not so conservative next year.
@ Diana McGraw: I bought the "wrong" page protectors, meaning, not the 3x4" spaces for journaling, that most scrappers were using. I bought WRMK with 4 6x4 pockets for photos, and 3 4x4" per sheet. I made my own inserts from my stash, cut the 4x4" and rounded all corners. Needless to say it was time consuming. I love the end results.

This is my 2nd well I guess 3rd year doing PL
2011-- attempted PL by making my own kit, I got so far behind and frustrated that I stopped mud way through the year
2012-- I decided to do the digital version of PL and loved it, I took all my photos with my phone and uploaded from the phone too, I just received my book and it turned out really good
2013-- I am doing the BH kit in cherry edition and a WRMK leather album in red! I have an iris tote ready to get organized for PL 2013
So excited to do this project
My plan now is to keep things simple, my day/evening will be Friday or Saturday to work on my book
There is so much awesome inspiration here I can hardly wait for 2013 to get here |

I'm planning on 2013 as well! This will be my second year. I'm planning on using the BH Cherry Edition with a red WRMK album. I'm going to toss in some Sn@p as well. I just love that stuff! The biggest change I'm going to make will be making sure I'm a little less strict about a photo a day. I started off that way last year and it got to be a bit much for me. I like it much better as a week in review type thing. If I have a photo a day, great! If not, I'm not going to stress about it.
I'm still behind in my 2012 album but I planned on using this week off to catch up on my journaling and print off the last few photos I still need. I'm so glad Walgreens has a photo sale right now! |

Oh! Oh! Oh! Marcy! I meant to add that your planning pages are what's keeping me sane in 2012. I love being able to just jot down my quick notes for that day. It has helped me so much! I printed out a bunch of the planning pages and used washi tape to tape them to the page protectors. When I get a week done, it feels so good to peel the planning page up and recycle it! Your pages have helped me stay on track more than any other product out there. Thank you!!!!!

I did Project Life in 2009 - or Project 365 as it was called then, using a BH? binder and plastic pages, but making my own supplies from stash. I loved taking a photo every day, printing pictures at home, and typing (printing) my journaling cards. But when I finished, I didn't think I'd ever do it again. If you keep up, it can be exhausting.
I'm planning to do some kind of abbreviated Project Life in 2013. I've purchased a Sn@p binder and plastic pages, and a few supplies from SS Sn@p and other manufacturers. I'm thinking of doing a weekly or monthly version instead of daily, but I'm unsure how I will go about it.
I'd like to know more about the Citrus Twist PL kits, but their website doesn't provide much info, e.g. no samples of their monthly PL kits.

I did Project 365 in 2010 and am planning to do this again in 2013. I take a photo each day but I scrap them on traditional pages. Sometimes I do 7 photos a page, sometimes a two page spread. Sometimes I put 30 small photos over a spread and do a month at a time. I like the variety and being able to use my regular scrapbooking product. |

I'm using some time off at Christmas now to catch up on my 2012 (just sent my order for 131 pictures to Costco) and I lucked out and found someone selling a brand new, unopened Project 365 Kit so that's sitting here ready for 2013. My goal this year is to stay better up to date and to put a little more creativity into it...not JUST stick to the journaling cards as is.
