....after about 4 hrs, I am covered in stickers in bizarre places, i have gone thru my my scrap supplies until it looks like a tornado just came through, I've sat at the computer, my scrap desk, drank 2 coffees, gone to the kitchen umpteen times, and STILL only have 1/2 layout done over the course of a day!
How about you? How do you know when you are just NOT feeling the mojo? |

When I tried several times to draw trees...SIMPLE trees, mind you...and kept having to erase my pencil lines. I gave up, finally.

When I keep walking away from my desk over and over, and finding other things to do, like sweep, pick up laundry, and clean the bathroom!

You just described me, lol. When I get that way I usually watch a movie on my laptop and organize my stuff. I think I like buying stuff and organizing it as much as actually scrapping. | |

Check my folders of unprinted photos, print one, leave it at the computer. Walk to my scrap area, look at the desk, organize my stuff and go pea.

It took me almost a week to come up with a 2 page layout that I was redoing from an older album. I'm still not please with it.  I have wasted so much time and energy. At this rate, I'll never get anything done. I'm half tempted to place all of my remaining pics (probably over a thousand) in photo sleeves and call it a day. I think I don't have any creative juices left. It makes me feel sick, anxious and very, very sad. |

When I start working on other projects! I'm currently working a big writing project, and for the last week or so, I've been supremely uninspired and unmotivated to work on it. So instead of spending my ample amounts of weekend free time writing, I completed two pages in my fall art journal, and baked apple pie. Oh well! |

I have this happen often. It is so annoying!! If looking at the gallery or pin interest doesn't get my going, I call it a day. Sometimes my mojo leaves the building. |

When you finally finish a layout after 3-4 hours.....and you look at it and think, "well that is total crap". |

I can sooooooooo relate. I have been in a slump for the last month or so. I am just not inspired by my hoard--I mean my stash--or my pics. I did a scraplift Saturday night that I love. I thought maybe that would get me back in gear but I frittered away yesterday. Maybe I will have success tonight?

I'm in the same boat as all of you and can totally relate! I've been in a rut for so long and sit in my chair in front of all my scrapping stuff and wonder to myself...should I try to start scrapping again or call it quits? I sit and stare then start peaing, just wasting my time not doing anything with all the papers, pictures, tools around me.
Where is my mojo and will I ever get it back? Who knows. | |

When I only have 2 1/2 pages left to finish an album for my DD's 30th birthday and it has been that way for weeks. I have to finish because her birthday is Friday. I have the pictures printed out and even picked the paper, just can't get anything to feel right. I think I am just over it since I have worked on the project so long. And the last double page spread is just a modge podge of family photos that don't seem to go together, but I don't want to leave out.
