Fellow peas,

I would love to know if any peas have live/been to Cambodia or Vietnam? If so could you please give me details on what to see?

Original plans were just to go to Thailand and Malaysia, but now my boyfriend and I are planning to go to Vietnam and Cambodia.

Thanks!

I can ask my brother whats the best places to see and things to do in Vietnam and Cambodia.

He's getting married in Thailand this weekend, so hes busy with all the wedding stuff. But i will email him and once he gets a chance to reply i can let you know!

He and his soon-to-be wife are flight attendants so they have been to both places many times!

Loads to see in Vietnam. I spent about three weeks there. We started in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) and made our way north through Dalat (not sure I spelled that right--it has been many years), Hoi An, Hue and up to Hanoi. Tons of wonderful things to see in all those places (and I think there were more stops too). It has been about 13 years though, so things may have changed.

I suggest a good travel book and see what appeals. Have fun!

Hanoi is a crazy place!! but there is lots to see. The best thing we have ever done is a cruise on Halong Bay, which is about a three hour drive from Hanoi. It is a world heritage site and has some of the most beautiful scenery we have ever seen. You can just do a day cruise, but would recommend you spend at least one night. We did a three day two night cruise.
In Cambodia, I would recommend the town of Siem Reap and the temples of Angkor Wat. So easy to hire a tuk tuk and a guide and spend some time exploring the temples. Amazing stuff!

I think we are only going to Cambodia... It's just not in the budget to fly to Vietnam...
